Yes, sir! I mean, ma'am! I will not get off track! At least I will try...

Last night I came home to 10 girlfriends and tons of Mexican food but though I could have eaten more moderately I didn't stuff myself. I tallied up my calories this morning to have about 1900 for the day yesterday. Not bad, considering. I also stayed at the gym a little extra yesterday b/c I knew I wouldn't have time today - it will be a LONG day and I'm not going to get home from this catering gig until midnight or so. I'm also kinda proud - I was so tired when I got home that after I ate I just wanted to shower & go to bed. I started thinking about this yoplait chocolate whip yogurt in my fridge. But I realized I didn't need it, wasn't hungry at all. So I brushed my teeth and went to bed.

I've also been a little stressed about all the parties etc. this weekend, RSVP-ing that I'm not coming and then showing up or vice versa, so I took steps yesterday to talk to the hosts & BF about all that we're supposed to do, removed some events, etc. - now I feel better. When people ask for RSVP's and you don't answer I just think it's kinda plain rude, so I hate to not give hosts answers. When I don't plan it stresses me out, a lot, and I tend to get grumpy and binge (not to mention my skin breaks out). I wish I wasn't such a stresser!

When I get stressed I also need to vent a little bit - hence above post. Hehe. know there will be multiple desserts at at least 1 party this weekend. I'm trying to stick to good eating, and maybe just a sample at the party.

It seems like we've all been on a roll this week. Let's keep on track this weekend! Start April off strong! We can do it!

I MADE MY FITNESS GOAL! Yayyy!! I was wondering if I would... And I made it..... on the very last possible day!!! I'm so proud of myself (Ok, so a lot of it was walking, but I walk pretty darn fast.)

Also, anyone noticed the new look of FitDay? I think it's great. It looks so much more user-friendly and easy to read. Anyway, I'm impressed

Britomart, CONGRATS! And yes, fitday looks much better now. I wonder how old those other graphics were.

Oh ladies, I messed up tonight. We went to an all you can eat. And I did just that. I didn't think it would be bad because they have soup and salad and fresh fruit. But noooo, I ate over 800 calories in BREAD alone! And some chocolate lava cake. And macaroni. And and and... My calories for today came to like 2700. So to keep my average under 1800 I can't eat more than 1600 a day for the next 5 days. Oh well, that's what I like about this plan, I get to make up for slip-ups and not beat myself up over them!

Hope you all have a good weekend!

congrats on meeting your goal britomart and of course to everyone that met theirs aswell.

well i have finally found the time to refocus and look at my goals. the past week was insane.

i have come to the conclusion that with OH's kids here on a weekly basis, i have to do my exercise in the morning. the last week i found that i had only about 3 hours from coming home from work to cook dinner, clean up, do house stuff and then fall into bed. i have to do my workout in the morning or it is not going to happen. problem is that i am not a morning person at all.

this morning i sat down and printed off a calendar and wrote down my planned exercise for the month. going to be a tough one as we have easter weekend (of course), ANZAC day and my birthday (the big 28). i must remain focussed to reach my goal this month. all three occasions are big excuses to eat and drink and be with family and friends so it could put me off track big time.

well i have set a goal for 1000 minutes exercise, my points for food and have worked out the exercise plan. i really want to succeed this month.

megan - i know what you mean about the rsvp's. nothing ruder than people not responding. how the heck are you supposed to plan an event when the numbers aren't right! worse thing is when people respond to attend though and then pull out at the last minute. we were catering for 110 people initially and then on the day of the function, about 15 pulled out. stupid excuses too. one was "oh, um, a pile of work just got put on my desk so i have to cancel" twit! of course we had to pay for those that cancelled still - no way was i going to ask the caterer to reduce the numbers on the day of the function

trns - loved your pics. i am a bit of a wannabee photographer and it is one of my favorite hobbies. i got some great pics at our event the other night. nothing fancy, just nice, candid shots with the river and the city in the background. can i ask what sort of camera you use?

dreamer85 - c'mon! let's kick both of our butts into gear this month. feel free to put your plan up (have you figured one out yet?) as i am sure you will get great advice from everyone.

Printing out a calendar is such a good idea. I'm also NOT a morning person but as of next week i might have to become the most INSANE morning person ever. I'm not going to say anything now because i don't want to jinx it. I'm also afraid of what will happen with my workouts.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked them. I would love to see yours. Post them up! I think for those i used just a canon powershot. Nothing fancy. I'm finally getting my Canon 20D soon! I can't wait.

ok, here goes nothin'. i feel like a fish out of water sharing my pics with you as you and stephie are so good (i had a peek at ALL of your pics stephie). it is so hard just picking a couple of pics - there are so many. my main subjects are my dogs, my nephew, OH's kids and some nature shots.

The top two were just experiements, playing around a bit with depth and macro. the last one is one of my puppies looking very intelligent on the beach. its lily and shes a boston terrier. our other dog is lulu and she is a king charles cav. i just love this one of lily.

trns - i have a canon 300D. bit of a crime really considering i am such an amateur but it was a treat when we bought our computer. i need to practice more with the manual settings - it is too easy just leaving it on auto

be gentle

I love all the callenges this month! I am so excited.

And big news, I am under 150 for the first time ever (well I am sure at some point I weighed less than that , but it must have been before high school)!!! 149 was actually the very first goal I set back when I was 190, so I have actually set and made a goal, and now only 4 pounds from this other goal I have set, then I will have to see how I feel. I am still having trouble feeling as "small" as I am now, I still feel huge most of the time! I am hoping that I will become comfortable with myself soon, because I don't want to get to 145 and think "5 more" and then get to 140 and say "5 more" then end up weighing like 100 pounds, HA. I think once I start being able to fit in clothes that I want to I will, at least I hope!

congrats lockitup

you will start to feel better in your skin. remember, we are always here for a vent if you feel . . . blah. the emotional side of being overweight could become more of a challenge than losing the weight itself. you can do it.
