Hi

My exam went well, thanks for thinking of me you guys!

I've misbehaved twice this week eating 3400 cal the first time and about 2500 yesterday. At least I've been walking regularly though it's freakin' cold! I'm not exactly looking forward to the weigh in on monday but that'll teach me!

Andreai - Congrats! You go girl! Hope you and your bf can work things out tomorrow.

Cyndy - hope your economics test went well.

Slimmingsi - we have the same drinking culture here in Denmark so I know suggesting to give up beer is totally out of the question! hehe... How about at least skipping 1-2 beers and the fatty 4 am breakfast?? Cereal's much quicker.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hey there everyone
How's everybody doing? I'm doing well this week eating around 1350 cal each day. The water could be better though. I bought a ministepper yesterday and I'm thinking of doing 30 min - 1 hour each day to exercise my legs. I also have some dumbdells I use to exercise the upper body. I've know realised the reasons why I can't follow a diet till the end: I'm too afraid of what I have to deal when I'm skinny. My self-esteem is low but I'm working on it cause I know that without self-love nobody can't diet and be sucessfull. Things with bf are much better. Sometimes I feel like I'm bad girl for him, physically speaking: I feel like I'm not attractive evengthough he keeps telling me the opposite. It's so hard for me to believe in my own value.
I'm feeling motivated, specially with my new toy: everyone here owns one?
Give me news girls and boy!

Kisses kisses
Andreia

Hey everyone,

I am trying very hard to do well today. This week has basically been bad Monday, worse Tuesday and terrible Wednesday -- so being Thursday I intend to make it fantastic, along with fri, sat and sun for weigh in on Monday. I am deathly afraid of undoing the good I did last week. That would be so de-motivating and discouraging.
But the past two days i could feel that something was not going to go well with eating, it was weird. Today I can feel that it is back on track. How odd. Evev my most, all-time absolute favourite dessert - brownies - which my sister just made (go figure, the day I am trying to get back on track) I have avoided. I don't even want a bite, that will set me off for the whole bloody pan. I figure they will be there when I have had a few good days and want to include it in my calorie count, I can always go buy a relly good one.

Talk soon and take care!

Hey girls

Sorry I didn't get back to you monday but things here have been really bad. I'm eating, eating and eating and I can't/won't stop! A lot of things have happened here - I was freakin' nervous about my final, haven't felt like that for a long time but it all ended well. Then yesterday I just heard about an accident of a relative who was on holiday. Apparently he's had a cerebral hemorrhage and on respirator. The doctors say there's no hope. They're flying him back next week.

I can't focus on dieting right now but I hope you all continue doing good. And Cyndy - good to hear your back on track again - remember your 5 lbs!

Default Hello...Need to lose 27 lbs

Hi,
I'm new. I started my weight loss journey 3 years ago after my last child was born. ( I have 3 children ..ages 16,15 and 3) A month after I had him I weighed 222. I went to the gym and managed to get down to 170 in a year. Over the next year my weight fluctuated between 180 and 160. Finally in my 3rd year my weight has fluctuated between 170 and 146. Yes...I got down to 146 and said WOOOHOO and then jumped back up to 165. The weight I currently am. I feel a great weight range for me would be 140-150 max.( I'm 5'5") I would love to be 150 by Christmas. I'm gonna have to hit it hard! Ultimately I would like to be 140 by Jan 31st for a cruise my dh and I will be taking! Hubba, Hubba! Also!! My 20th high school reunion will be this year! And I would OHHHHHHHHH SOOOOOOOOOO LOVE for everyone to speculate if I have had plastic surgery because I couldn't possibly look that Great after 3 kids and damned near 40! LOL! So...Please tell me what I need to do to join in because I'm ready for the challenge!!

Happy Holidays!

Hey, so this morning was weigh in...I gained a little bit but I knew I would...to be safe I will say one pound...roughly 136. That still averages out to 2 lb loss per week, because last week I lost 5 lbs so at least the water weight would have been gained back meaning it is 4 lbs lost for good!

This week I am going to be far more structured. I am planning ahead this morning, making my lunch, and planning out snacks. I am anticipating a fantastic week eating wise, but a very stressful week school-wise...exams start verrrry soon

Good luck everyone! How did the rest of you do?

Hi!!

The hardest things for me are choosing healthy food at meals, avoiding carbs when i am in a hurry, and eating late at night. There's nothing like a diet coke and a bag of candy to keep yourself up at 1 am! Anyway, I will try to post wth support, weigh ins, advice...anything! WE CAN DO IT!!!! Yay colllge girls!
quick question -- how do yall weigh in? do you weigh in once a week at the same time? what about xtra weight from clothes and stuff? Thanks!

hey there miss michelle!
welcome to our thread!
most of us are student too! We usually weigh in at mondays but you can weigh in everytime you want. I'm having difficulties with the same things:studying at night makes you hungry. I'm looking for healthy snacks 2 when I find some good ones I'll post them here. I usually take my measures 2 because the weight can be deceiving. I'm also using a pair of jeans that I can't wear now because they are too tight!
Feel free to post!
Good luck
kisses
