She isn't in the hospital because she hasn't gone to see a doctor. Or if she has, she's lying about how she's doing.
Sorry to hear about all the misfortunes among your employees! I keep telling people that scratches, cuts, etc. are nothing to ignore. It's not like years ago--bacteria are more dangerous now. A friend just had a finger amputation because of letting an infection go.
