SoMuchFattitude I was getting worried about you! You hadn't been posting all weekend! But all those jiggling little laughing heads on your last post tell me you are doing just fine. Have you noticed that the smaller you get theharder it is to have a substantial loss? I guess that is a dumb, question. Obviously. But I ask because, I wonder about the gratification and the dulling of weight loss process the further and further you go. Do you think not having a loss gets easier to handle or harder to handle once you have gone so far? Tudor Rose What is your opinion?

I am alive and kicking! I'm rarely on during the weekend. They just go by WAY too fast!

Yes, I don't lose nearly as fast anymore. I used to lose 5lbs a week and now I'm lucky to see 1lb. It's incredibly frustrating and makes it even harder to stick to my plan. It's 100% harder for me when I don't lose.

Biking is definitely my favorite. Right now I'm just doing city stuff around our bay or on our beach boardwalk, but I'm looking forward to some trail riding once I bite the bullet and buy a bike with better suspension. And being able to manage more than my measly 5ish mile rides I'm doing now.

Hi friends! It's been awhile since I posted, maybe a week or so. I had my first (and hopefully last) gain at my weigh in last Saturday. I was up .8 pound. Not much, I know, but up is up, and it was a shock to me. I rarely use my weekly points, definitely don't use my activity points. I did eat out a lot last week, perhaps it was a combination of extra sodium and miscalculating the points.

But I didn't let it get me too down, and I've stayed on plan ever since. Though when this has happened in the past I tended to under-eat for a few days afterwards, and I feel I'm doing that now. I get 30 points a day, and today I only ate 28. I am extremely inactive lately though, so perhaps it's okay.

I hope you are all doing well. I will be better about checking in this week. Hey, do you think there is maybe a correlation between not checking in here, and the scale going up? :-)

Jilu: I am currently saving for a recumbent bike. Hoping to get it by summer for some biking fun. Since my backside has such...ahem...larger portions...the regular seats are so uncomfortable for me. Plus I never feel very balanced on one. It always feels like one step away from falling!

forkeeps: it is most likely a little bit of water weight gain. that has happened to me. take heart, i bet the next time you will have a woosh!

I did my weigh in today and lost 4 pounds! For the first time I got my first weekly points change.

My activity monitor showed that on my double for the weekend, I got 250% on both days. Lol, I can definitely believe that!

I also splurged on pizza last night. I made 22 ap points this last week and by golly, I wanted to use some! lol I even had a small pop to go with it. Want to know what's funny...after two slices of pizza I was full and it was a small pop and I didn't even finish more than half because I found I preferred my flavored water. And with all that, I didn't go over my daily points allowance much less touch any of my weekly or ap! lol

Just weighted in this morning and only lost 0.6. So that was dissappointing. Up to this point my lowest loss was 1.8. I was hoping for atleast a pound. I should not be surprised. Last wk was good but last night we went to a friends for supper. I was pretty good at my portions but I did have dessert. It was always hard when you are not completely in control with how things are made. Plus I usually do not eat that much the night before a weight in. Hopefully I will see last weeks work on the scale next week. It has motivated me to make better choices for the rest of the week.

Congrats on the star!!!! I was pretty close to getting my 50 pound star....and then the month of December/January/February happened and I'm a lot further away from it than before. LOL

But I'm working to get there!!! Hopefully sooner rather than later, but I'll take it whenever it wants to come!

Good Morning Ladies!

So, oh god, I can't remember who, but someone in here was talking about the sugar content in fruit. My losses have been steady but slow, so this week I've cut out the high sugar fruit (apple, bananas and grapes) and stuck with LOW LOW sugar fruit only (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries).

On top of that, training has started and I'm already at 31 APs so far this week and still have training the rest of the week. Oh boy - I'll probably bring in around 45'ish by Saturday! WOW! And it's my first "slow" week....I'll be honest - I'm seriously nervous about when I'm biking almost 50 miles and running 9 and swimming 2 all within 4 or so days...I don't know how to eat/lose when I'm that active. It's my biggest issue with weight loss, which is actually why I got back on WW and not calorie counting because I couldn't do with without calorie counting.

Anyhow, I digress. I was down significantly this morning from last Saturday's weigh in (-2.6lbs) and I can't help but slightly panic and wonder if it's just a cruel joke my body is playing on me....

Wow - why am I feeling so insecure this morning? Sorry - I'm rambling. I'll move to my blog for that.

---

Breakfast - 1 hard boiled egg, 1 hard boiled egg white, coffee, vitatop - 5pts
Lunch: Leftover Filet Bourguignonne w/ Mashed Potatoes - 13pts
Dinner: Loaded Potato Soup - 14pts
Anytime: 100 greek yogurt, mini protein bar - 4pts

Training: Brick - spin 30, run 1m

I've been in a weird mental place as of late and haven't been around as much so I just saw this

For me it did get frustrating the further along I went because my body wasn't losing as quickly. I understand the science behind it, with a smaller body you have less to lose. Your body has also become more efficient at burning calories through exercise and has a lower BMR (the amount of calories you naturally burn even if you stayed in bed all day). It is frustrating to realize that after all this time you have to put more effort to get the same results, which means that to get better results you have to put in an even more effort.

That being said, thiis morning I got dressed and noticed that my clothes are looser. My weight is the same as it has been for a month, since I decided to stay at 175, but I'm now losing inches so I guess I do still have some shrinking going on. It was a pleasant surprise!
