I found the Selecttech weights on Amazon for $279 so I grabbed them! They shipped earlier than expected and will arrive Monday, just in time for me to start the program! Can't wait!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Hey everyone!!

I am half way through my first week of Burn. I did burn intervals today. It kicked my butt! I prefer strength training over cardio, but I did do cardio on my rest day as I have read that this program works best when you add more cardio. I wasn't a huge fan of how long burn intervals was but I made it through it!

Yay new faces! Welcome BrownEyedVeggie and Candeka!

Candeka, how are you liking the Burn Circuit so far?

BrownEyedVeggie - let us know when you start or if you have any questions.

I'm so happy you found some adjustables Strutter! Let us know how it goes on Monday!

So I started the Push Circuit on Tuesday and I LOVE it although I found myself yelling at Chalene a couple of times during the extreme sets. lol The bowler's lunge give me problems with my lower back so I modify those and the hammer bicep curls was my favorite.

The weirdest thing for me was that I wasn't sore for the entire day on Tuesday (I really did push and fatigued). It wasn't until I woke up the next morning and I felt it unlike any feeling during the Burn Phase. I think I'm going to cut back on the cardio and focus more on CE.

For the heavier weights (15 and 20 pounders) I need to start wearing weight lifting gloves so I'm going to try and find some pink ones. lol

I went grocery shopping and the coolest thing was being able to lift a 20 lbs bag of potatoes effortlessly. It was so empowering!

This totally cracked me up! lol I can completely relate. I really grab on to those NSVs and run with them because I really didn't realize how much being overweight hindered me until those "little things" became so significant.

My sweetest NSV to date is having the seat belt in my truck actually retract itself every time. Usually it was pulled out so far that it either tangled somehow and didn't want to go back up or I ended up shutting it in the door. Resizing my rings was a close second, but the seat belt thing is my favorite because no one really gets it unless they've been there!

That is wonderful! You are going to LOVE it! I am seeing some nice definition and it's unbelievable how much firmer my muscles have gotten. I used to flex my bicep and touch it and it was soft. Now my biceps, triceps, and shoulders are MUCH more firm! It's amazing!

I feel like I need weight lifting gloves too! I don't have callouses yet (sorry if spelling is wrong) but my hands hurt when I'm done. I think I'll get some this weekend.

I'm also noticing how EASY it is getting to lift things! It's crazy! And my muscles are actually getting hard! It's bananas! I actually have triceps! LOL!

Keep it up ladies! We are turning our bodies into powerhouses!

This is the exact thing I'm going through. I don't have any hard spots on my hands yet, but I'm afraid if I continue without gloves I will develop callouses (sp?)

Not having any luck finding pink gloves over my way so I might have to head over to MI or buy them online.

I'm so jealous you have tricpes. lol That area one of the spots where my body fat is just hanging out and don't want to leave (haha). I have seen improvements, but not as fast as I hoped. You are doing so great!

Yep, all done! I finished last Sunday. Final results 4.2 lbs lost and 20 inches. You have no idea how many times I remeasured to make sure that was all right; I must have a lot of muscle hiding underneath all that fat or something! lol I carry the most fat in my midsection and I lost 5 inches from my waist alone. Oh and I have visible hamstrings now!

This may be a TMI thing, but have you (or anyone else reading!) noticed weird changes with your chest as you improve your fitness? When I lie on my side, my boobs (they're natural) don't squish together anymore unless I purposely concave my chest. This is a new one for me.

Tomorrow's the big day! My weights are still on track for delivery tomorrow, so when I get off work, I'll have my first date with Chalene. I can't wait to feel that lifting burn again!

First day completed!! I LOVE the Selectttech weights..well, I loved them once I hauled that 105 lb box in. Guess the Fed Ex guy didn't want to carry them up to the door either! lol He left them by the garage so I unpacked them in the garage and carried them one at a time upstairs.

Well...my arms are on fire and quite shaky. I was trying to cook after I got done and I dropped the jar of marinara sauce on the floor! I had 15 lbs on the lower body work and I think I'm going to have to up that. My upper is hurting so good, my lower body isn't feeling anything. I'm definitely glad I invested in the weights because I wasn't under 12 lbs on anything, so I will be needing those heavier weights!

Chalene is different. Not saying that in a bad way, either! I'm so used to Shaun T barking at me; she's way more mellow!

Off to soak my sore muscles!

NICE!!!! Congrats!!!!! Just wait until you get further into CLX. You've lost a lot of fat and now muscle is going to start showing.

My boobs has lifted. Big time. No need for a boob lift over here. lol I so was not expecting that, but it's a nice surprise consider I'm only one month in lifting heavy.

I was wondering how your first day went. I'm so glad you decided to go for the SelectTechs! It may take a couple of times to figure out the best weight so it's good you discovered you need to go heavier with the lower body. I know that shaky feeling you are talking about. I remember trying to cut an onion...that's very bad. lol

Yes she is different. I love her clothing style. In one of the Push Circuits she is actually wearing boots! I have never seen that before. lol

Keep us updated with your progress!
