  • I am starting a petition. It is simply unfair that chocolate has so many calories. And so I believe the calorie gods should cut it in 1/4 at least. I can't stop eating peanut M&Mss......... :-P

Sun - I hear ya. I have not been able to attend any of my holiday parties, but I can see how tempting it must be. My goal is below 160 by the end of the year, and I am afraid to go on the scale until I do a solid 5 days of P1 South Beach diet...I need to restrict myself right now...it's totally out of control!!!

    WHERE'S EVERYBODY AT?
  • GoingForGold82, I CONCUR!!! Except for me its those darn pretzel m&ms

well Im finally joining this thread. Hopefully I fly through i, though I have a feeling that from here on out its going to be a SLOW and steady weightloss. As if 75 lbs in two years wasnt slow enough....
  • Hey Hil! Welcome aboard!!! Yeah, slow weight loss is painful, so it's always good to think back about where you started. 75 lbs is friggin awesome. I've been trying to get out of the 160s for two months and it's just not working.

Wish you the best of luck, but if ya get stuck here for a while, the group is really great and supportive.
  • I weighed in at 167.6 this morning! 8 lbs away from a healthy bmi! I'm so excited!

Good luck to everyone! Goingforgold, you're SO close I know you'll be out of the 160s in no time!
  • Hello everyone!!!
hope everyone is doing well. For me, today is the first day back on plan and I'm excited for that. Just wanted to ask you girls what does a typical day look like for you in terms of a daily menu.
    For me I had:
    Breakfast
    2 egg whites= 50 cal
1 slice whole grain toast=100 cal
    I can't believe it's not butter spray= 0 cal
    snack
    vanilla yogurt=110 cal
    Banana nut granola =140 cal
    Lunch
1 can of Progresso soup=200 cal
    afternoon snack
Carrots and hummus approximately 140 cal

I also have a hidden agenda by doing this. I'm trying to see what you guys are eating so maybe I can incorporate it into my meal plan, just so that I won't get bored. And maybe it will help someone else out as well
  • Hmm.. to graduate from this thread means I need to reach 72.4 kgs (159.6 lbs) and BMI would be 27.2.

Oh! While fiddling with BMI I just noticed that I'm currently sitting on the gate/cusp between Obese I and Overweight, yay! (79.5 kgs/ 175.2 lbs) I'll try to get to Overweight asap 200 more grams! lol
  • Ladies you are all doing so well! I just want to say. HELP! I have fallen off the band wagon and been crushed by the wheels. sigh. Its all so overwhelming. Socializing is such a big part of my life and right now my social events are all xmas and food based, I am just goint to try and be reasonable until the new year and then hard core back on track. whew what a trip.
  • 174.8 this morning!! Finally in the "other half" of the 170s..
  • Argh, ate too much salt. I don't think I ate too much, calorie wise-- but water bloating~
  • 175.4 today! I was worried the few Christmas cookies I ate would ruin my hard work of the past few weeks but the scale showed a new low today! It's a Christmas miracle!
  • I'm officially overweight! Here's to never, EVER going back to obesity!!
  • day one of eating healthy. its that tom and so i wont weigh myself till next week.that will also give me a week to flush out my body
  • Hi Ladies, it has been quite awhile since I have been on and even longer since I have been active daily on here. It is time to hold myself accountable for my actions and I need to be on here again. It helps to receive support from others and see the ones who have reached their goals. I stepped on the scale today, back up to 167, from making it down to 153, my lowest since my last pregnancy. That was a huge slap in the face

WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS TO MYSELF? DON'T I WANT TO FEEL CONFIDENT AND SEXY AGAIN? DON'T I?

Please send me your words of encouragement. I can really use them. I plan on journaling again and exercising everyday, even it I can only squeeze in 30 min. I just made executive at my company and with that comes even longer hours, more frequent traveling, and higher stress. I know eating healthier and exercising will make a difference, but I can't seem to kick my butt into action and keep it moving!

Thanks for reading! Send me your motivation vibes
  • Welcome back Tori!!!
Congrats on your promotion. Remember, anything I possible with har work and determination. It sounds like there is going to have to be a lot of pre planning your meal and snacks and a lot of make ahead dinners, since your work hours will be longer.
We are all here and cheering for you.
