Was just thinking this...as hard as the past month has been with all kinds of temptations, the next month will be great with lots of people (and stores) striving for health. Healthy foods will be on sale, workout gear, workout clothes...excited for that to be the cultural focus, even if it is fleeting.

Seems like a lot of users have the problem with the page freezing. I found a thread on the main page of the forum for SCRIPT ERROR. Here is a post I found with a suggestion for fixing the problem (haven't tried it yet as I don't have the problem with my work computer just my laptop):

Well I finally fixed the problem (crosses fingers). After an exhaustive google search I found that disabling my add-ons worked, something so simple.

Here's what I used:

Disable all add-ons
While browser add-ons can enhance your online experience, they can occasionally interfere or conflict with other software on your computer. Try starting Internet Explorer without add-ons to see if the problem goes away. Here's how:

• Right-click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop, and then click Start Without Add-ons.

If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on the desktop, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

If disabling all add-ons solves the problem, you might want to use Add-on Manager to disable all add-ons and then turn on add-ons only as you need them. This will allow you to figure out which add-on is causing the problem.

To open Add-on Manager
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Tools button.

3. Click Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or Disable Add-ons.

Thank you! I'm very proud of myself.

Though, I will say that after many years of being an overweight wallflower, the holidays were really exhausting because of family members wanting to socialize more than usual with me and talk about my weight loss. I have no problems talking about it, but I'm not used to being in the limelight that much, lol.

I agree with the philosophy about not beating yourself up for a little bit of weight gain around the holidays. It's happened to so many of us. Me included. I've just been taking things a day at a time. Some days are good. Some are not as good. I just have to keep trying every day until it sticks and I'm back into my OP habits again. So far, today is a good day. I weighed in this morning and I forgot my weigh in clothes. Oops. So, I'll just have a better weight loss next time. I'm not going to let it upset me.

For those of you struggling, don't lose hope. New Year's Day is just around the corner and for so many people, that's when the switch flips in our minds. Why else do so many people start the year off trying to lose weight? If all else fails, there's always next year.

I asked at the center today if there was a link somewhere to the commercial MRC has my before and after pics in. The consultant said she'd e-mail it to me. As soon as she does, I'll figure out some way to upload it.

Hi everyone! I've been MIA because the power supply to my laptop has gone beserk and the only way I cOuld get it on was to squeeze it tight and hold it. I finally did it long enough to get my passwords and excel docs (where I keep banking info) and email them to myself. So I'm either posting from my tablet or phone, which I don't like to do, so I probably won't be around too much.

I haven't weighed in in two weeks and I've gained 4 lbs in that time. As of today I have lost 3 of those 4 lbs so I'm back on track. I also starting working out last week (Insanity DVDs.)

I'm coming down with a bad cold and it will be a struggle not to feed myself full of junk while in misery.

Hey guys!!! Sorry I was MIA yesterday...got super busy shopping with a friend and then had to go to work. Of course, that script error crap keeps me from getting on at work. Anyways...happy day!!! My diet direct order came in...had Roadside Lemonade for breakfast....loved it!!! And trying to figure out how to make the chocolate truffle for lunch as shake like as I can get it...going to put some imitation coconut in it so it tastes like a mounds bar. So excited. Good news...I maintained instead of going up like I thought I would. Now if I can just get an exercise routine in place...I think I'd start losing the weight instead of plateauing everytime I have a lose. Hope everybodies days are going good...

Default Diet Direct Sale

i found some lower carb protein bars called Chocolite...cheaper than the box of 7 bars for $10.99, more protein and lower carb...
i got tired of those bars pushing up my carbs on my online tracker at MFP!! :-) Sale ends Jan-2. free shipping w/ $49 and you get $10 off if you spend $59 using Holly10 code.
i ordered the Wonderslim Berry Yogurt shakes - they are sooooo good! and good w/ berries in the blender for lunch.
hope everyone has a Happy New Year!!

P.S. i'm thinking of what hot outfit i'm going to wear out on the town tomorrow to bring in the New Year! :-)

Gina, Tami, everyone: whether you gained, lost or are maintaining, congrats to all of us for getting it back together after the holiday! There are a lot of lessons here, don't you think? Among them for me is the realization that it's not so much the chocolate truffles on Christmas Eve that do me in, it's having the rest of the box sitting around in plain sight for the next week!! Arggh! One more weekend to get through and as Gina said, I can look forward to the January purge. This year I won't be going into it with 5 pounds MORE to lose like I did last year.

I am on the coast for New Years weekend. Some friends are joining us tomorrow and will probably bring goodies and junk. Sigh. I have already announced I'm making fish tacos, so at least one of the dinners will not be
a problem for me. I don't plan to even have that first tortilla chip.

There aren't any scales over here but yesterday morning I was down 1.8 of the 2.8 I had gained at Christmas. Hopefully by the time I get back into the center, I will actually show a loss.

I'm pleased so many people are checking in on the boards this week. I know it helped me refocus instead of overeating the entire time!

Having Teacherlady's green beans tonight!

Forgot to ask: roadside lemonade- is that from Diet Direct? I couldn't find it. And is it powder or liquid? I have thought some powders too difficult to mix but would like to have a lemonade.

And boy do I hear you on the bars being TOO good!

Wonder how it would be to put in blender with cottage cheese at lunch? That would make it creamy and more shake-like. Just a thought. I've tried chushed ice, but that didn't thicken it.

more activity planned for the New Year! two parties NY day, one is an Oyster Roast - chili, hotdogs, beer and the 2nd one is a Polar Bear Plunge at the beach. we are going to the second one and getting some walking in at the beach instead of the Stuff Yourself party. one of the campgrounds i want to chk out for next year has a Rock climbing wall and lots of bike trails so i'm gearing up for more fun activity events. my DH is like really? you're going to climb a wall!!? haha, why not? he's a former Marine so used to climb walls all the time - i can do it! :-)

Mahi mahi and salad for dinner - i'm beginning to think like a thin person! i did have chocolate pretzels for lunch! couldn't make myself throw them out. i did put half of them in a ziplock and gave to DH to give to his parents! i found some big tongs and got the rest of them off the top shelf. bad bad bad!

i use left over coffee, water, ice and put in single GE blender and drink w/ a straw...yummmmmm! it's more like chocolate milk not thick like a shake. if we could have bananas that would be perfect! the cottage cheese sounds like a great idea. i have put greek non fat yogurt in the mix which is wonderful. i've also mixed w/ frozen strawberries for a choc. strawberry shake. good w/ diet Dr. pepper too for a chocolate float. the best thing i've ever bought for this diet is the GE single blender. i take it w/ me all the time! i have a 9 V plug in my car that i could even plug it in :-) perfect for camping too.

Camaswa, the roadside lemonade is Syntrax Nectar brand..it's so good!

Camaswa...I tried the whole ice thing too...not too good. I got the syntrax grab n go variety pack from diet direct. It had the roadside lemonade in it. It's a powder but you can get it in the big containers. It's super easy to mix...I think I'll just continue to get the variety pack cause it has all the kinds I want to try except for two...I think those are just going to be a hold your nose and chug! Will be trying the powder with the cottage cheese to try for a pudding type. In fact, I think I'm going to go do that now. I'll let you know how that works out.
