Good Morning All!
Congratulations bludolphin!!
I was feeling blah last night, but then I opened my snack and was seriously surprised! The apple cinnamon soy puffs were delicious!! It was a nice way to end my first day on IP and made waking up to start a new day a little easier. I just keep telling myself to take it one day at a time.
happy dance, i made a mini goal I stepped on the scale today before WI (I know wuv I know) and I made my goal of losing 20 pounds by end of summer, I count today end of summer. Next goal is to be down to 275 by DH birthday in mid November.
LOL....Blu as long as it was a good scale WI its ok. I'll let you slide this time...congrats on your mini goal!

Aren't they great? And you said it correctly take it one day at a time, that is all you can do. You will see each gets better each day, you get used of it and it becomes routine and you look forward to eating some of the foods when you enjoy them.
I was not as lucky as Blu this morning, I had my WI and loss NOTHING not even inches. I am and have been 100% OP since April 27th, 19 week now, not once have I eaten or drank anything not OP. So the next time you don't have a loss or a small one, its not what you have done that week, its just your body catching up with what you have loss already. I am not disappointed by no means because I did not gain and that is all that matters to me!!
Lisa sorry to hear you had an off week, but great attitude about it.
That is why so many of the newbies look up to you!
Another Wednesday morning, just got done with my you guessed it Cappuccino lol.
Slacked off last night, we only did 4 miles, but both of us were pretty beat and just weren't into it, I felt kind of guilty it was the first time I haven't done at least 5 miles on the track, but it was nice getting home a little earlier.
Man I am so sick of looking at road bikes on line lol.
I know the one I want but you can't get Scott bikes hardly anywhere and normally they won't ship to your house, and of course there is no store within like 150 miles of where I am that you can ship them too.
I still have a little time, but I am looking to get a road bike before it gets to cold to continue walking outside, so if anyone has any leads on a good deal.
Looking for about a 52cm 18-27 speed road bike, something like another specialized, scott, felt, fuji, so keep your ears to the ground for me ladies.
Heck you never know one of you may have one sitting in the garage the DH doesn't use
I too am new to IP. My name is Jessica and today is my 3rd day on IP. Ive been yo-yo dieting for about 3 years now and I always seem to gained back the weight, so Im really excited for this. But Im just wondering if anyone struggled for the first week. Im having a really difficult time with my cravings.
I work full time and I'm also a part-time student so im so used to picking up random junk food on the road, which is making this whole process a bit frustrating since I have to plan ahead. Any suggestions?

Congratulations on the no gain and great attitude. Keep it up and I'm sure the pounds are melting as we speak.

Jessica, you first week is your worse week with all of the craving, headaches and nausea. Your body is detoxing and causing these things to happen. Make sure you keep pickles on hand and if possible lettuce since that is unlimited. The drinks are easy on the go since you just need a bottle of water and you are pretty much ready to go with that. You can chew sugarfree come, that is always my life saver when I get hungry. Make sure to keep your sea salt with you incase you get a headache, put about 1/2tsp in the palm of your hand and just lick it then drink some water, your headache will be gone in about 15 mins. Good luck on this life long journey
Thanks Wayward, Blue and Coliep, its the ONLY attitude to have when you know you have been completely OP. My body is just catching up is all

Thank you Port,
I was actually thinking the same thing.
I know there were like 5 of us that wanted to get in on that little end of Sept goal list.
When I start the next thread which will be in a few days probably I will include that info so that we know how everyone is doing.
Lol - Wayward, I think you are by far the leader in this one! As I posted earlier today, though, I am down to 143 again....hoping that it is not just a fluke. That leaves me with just 8 to go!
