Delphi, I decided to experiment with calorie shifting after I read a magazine article about it, in which people were losing large amounts of weight. However, they were only eating lots of fruit for breakfast and dinner and then their one normal and larger meal was lunch. I knew I wouldn't go that route because first I don't want to lose huge amounts of weight at once and second I am into balance and all that fruit is not balanced. However, I was curious if not eating as much in the evenings would make a difference for a steady weight loss, so I decided to shift most my calories to breakfast and lunch and eat very light for dinner. I did lose 3 lbs over two days, but I was coming off of TOM and I think I lost 3 lbs last month after TOM left too, so I can't attribute that weight loss to the calorie shifting. It was all TOM. What I do know is that calorie-shifting made it very difficult to balance my foods, and I was hungry late at night, which is unusual for me. However, as we can see, I have this problem with forgetting to eat lunch on time, lol!! So during those days when I forget to eat until 3:00, eating light at night would probably work for me. Of course, yesterday, forgetting to eat till 5:00 messed the whole thing up! Actually, what I need to go back to concentrating on remembering to eat lunch around noon!!
Michelle, you are doing great with your "mini" mini goal for the week!!

I agree that when you cut something out that you crave, it's hard at first, but then your body adjusts and you don't crave it anymore. Congrats on the weight loss!!

And congrats on staying OP!!

You're doing a great job!
