  • Sure is easy to mess up on day 2.....
    The problem is I know I won't be able to go 10 days in a row from today beacause I'm going to my in-laws on what will be day 8. Mostly because of STRESS!!!!
    Any suggestions??For now I'll just start over on day one. Maybe I'll make it a mini 8 day challenge.

    Yesterday I had a mishap with my snacks. My hb eggs weren't good, so I threw them away and ended up almost falling alseep for low blood sugar I was working at the computer sorting through new address lists to help a colleague, which is a boring job and didn't help me stay awake and alert. So I ended up having a coffee, and since I cannot drink coffee without sugar....


    today is my D1 without sugar again
  • Hi all! I managed through D7, although a bit low on the exercise side (cold ). Anyway, I'm happy because I can do without sugar and sweets, so it's a step toward control over my eating habits. If I can do without sweets, I can do without anything else, I guess .

    Elisa B - did you try adding some milk to your coffee, and making it rather light, this is how I make it - and I sure loved to add tons of sugar in it - not tons, of course, just 3 spoonfuls

    Apple Blossom - My suggestion: either make an 8-day challenge, shorter version, or just reduce your 4fold challenge to a sustainable double or triple one? Just keep going, don't give up the entire plan because of foreseeable obstacles - think of the situation in advance, identify your possible problems, and think of the ways to manage through it. It will all come and go, but you will be the only one to face the consequences afterwards. So be selfish for this single time in your life, and think of your priorities. ((Hugs))

    Punkinbutt - Easy!!! Lucky you. I told you in one of my previous messages that I liked your goal. Well, I tried to do some, and guess what: I did 10 and almost dropped dead You sure are fit, girl!

    Well i guess i'm "in" the ten day program. Today was my first day but i did excerise yesterday. ToDay i did 15 mins on the bowflex and then i plan on going for a 30 min walk. As for my calories i'm doing ok, i had an orange for breakfast. I hope the rest of my day goes good like this morning. I am happy for this ten day thing.

    Yes, well, that's part of the problem. I cannot drink coffee without creamer AND sugar, and since I'm dairy intolerant, the cream is not a good idea either But since I cannot have it with stevia, I'm really better off staying away from sugar altogether and sticking to herbal teas when I'm at the office.

  • I didn't do too well on my last challenge, almost scared to try another. But here goes... 10 days I will drink more water. I haven't been drinking what I should. So here goes....
