Ann, Wonderful news for your DBF as well as your daughter's lab work after having chemo. Prayers continue for both, especially her. I know y'all are relieved.
Hope you are able to get everything done you want to do during your warmer weather. When you mentioned the wind soundin like a freight train. It made me think of how we felt the first time Space X tested one of their engines in the little town southwest of us. It sounds and feel like an earthquake or a bomb going off. The first few times we experienced it, I told DH someone could bomb us and we would just think they were testing their spaceship engines. They can last 5 seconds to 2 or 3 minutes. When so many from CA started moving here, my beautician wrote on FB that she wondered if anyone prepared them for those testings. DS said the first time they ever tested that everybody stood outside in their neighborhood wondering what was going on because she lives close enough that the sky lit up. Then they found out what it was and now she said they seldom notice them. I guess we haven't lived here long enough to not notice.
Carol Sue I am so sorry about you friends 2 yr old son. Will definitely be praying for them. Hope it is treatable. The pastor we had in SC had had leukemia before we ever knew him and his younger brother was the match for whatever the treatment was for him to be healed. Will pay for a miracle for this little boy. Also having been a mother of a burned child and all we went through I will definitely keep the mother and family in my prayers.
I think I am learning that maybe the key to successful fasting is eating enough during my eating window. I didn't eat until we got the KFC. I ate some of the KFC cole slaw and added corn on the cob as the veggie to it. Sam's didn't have my MGSL bread so when we went to Walmart, I got 100% WW bread. I bought FF very thin sliced ham sandwich and since the bread is 70 calories a slice, I used one slice of the Walmart 100% WW bread and a couple slices of the ham and made a fold over sandwich no mayo or mustard. I had that and a small 80 calorie Dannon FF Lite & Fit yogurt for my 2nd meal. Maybe the reason they say 100% WW bread is it makes you feel full. Anyway, it is interesting to me that even with that, I had what I wanted and how it made me feel stuffed. I will not be hungry again tonight. So maybe my problem is not eating foods that actually satisfies. Be interesting to see how the works long term.
