Happy Friday all,
Tera, great job getting back to the Killer Strength class. I SO know what you mean about not having a partner in crime with eating. When my DH is out of town, that always kick starts my healthy eating patterns. Strange thing is, he never pushes the idea of food so it's my own warped reaction to our marriage.
Am2, even though your cals were higher, you're exercise counter balances it. You are quite my role model.
My cals will be 1420 today. Maybe a tad high for inactivity but not too horrible. I was nauseous most of the day and kept looking for stomach calming food. DH is currently making me scrambled eggs for dinner so I have some protein. All I wanted was cracker/bread type of stuff. Tomorrow hopefully will be a little better food wise.

I know they weren't this bad before though so think my diabetes has progressed just recently just as the doc said it would. Darn! I SO didn't want him to be right!
So I'm bewildered..
I was having a good day this morning, regardless that my scale needs some serious drop kicking into the pool. Then I listened to my Packers throw away a 21-3 lead and then lose the game (not a big deal in my world) and then got a sad call from my daughter. She had trouble giving me some bad news, and that's when the day took a nose dive. On the better side, I didn't jump into a vat of chocolate to smother the sadness. At the moment, I'm also having an allergic reaction to something, most likely culprit is the antibiotic. So I stopped it last night. I so want to rip my skin off. If I could take prednisone, I'd seriously consider taking it but I can't for wound healing reasons. But, as I said, the day started off well. My sister and I chatted for about two hours. This is after a several month no communication time. So truly fixing our relationship was the bright spot of the day.
Glad you didn't jump into a chocolate vat, but sorry the allergic reaction came up with the antibiotic. It is so nice that increased communication with your sister provided a bright spot.
Got to walk with the pack again yesterday and will again today. For now that is my exercise because I'm not supposed to exercise for a couple more weeks. I doubt I will make it that long without my elliptical but it is only 6 days post op. So the walking will suffice.
