    My weigh in today was 184.2lbs. I am glad that I am down .8lbs, especially given that my monthly visitor came (sorry if it's TMI). I am hoping to be down another 2lbs after this week. I just hope that my first Sunday weigh-in for September has me in the 170s.

    And as much as I love the company, I hope you're outta the 180s soon too!!
  • I'm new here too... trying to get out of the 180s as well. I've been floundering for about a month between 185-187. I wanna see that seven!

  • LOL, me too goalgetta! I've been in the 180s for a LONG LONG time now. I'm pushing for it this week and it's so close I can taste it

    science - welcome! I was stuck between those two numbers for about a month too! It's a pain in the neck, I think for a lot of us the 180s are a plateau area, I know they have been for me. You and I have very similar stats! How long have you been at this?

    Weekends are not good for me though, I seriously backslide, but I burnt a lot of calories this weekend, so I'm hoping it will push me right through the week!
  • Was at 180.5 last week. Down to 176.5 today so I'm moving on ova to the 170's board. Good luck to everyone! No offense to anyone, but I hope to never see this board again!!

    Welcome dayoneagain! I remember when I broke into the 180s. It was a great feeling. I hope you enjoy it while it lasts because hopefully it won't be for long!
  • Hovering around 186. TOM arrived yesterday so I'll probably be dropping a few pounds of water in the next couple days...

    I've not been exercising or anything.... I haven't eaten horribly (and i've stayed away from sodas!!!) but, I haven't eaten really great either. I have had terrible bronchitis that is just now clearing up. There was a ton of smoke where I am because of wildfires, so I was having difficulty breathing all week. It finally rained today and chased the smoke away.

    I feel very discouraged because getting sick derailed me so much.

    BUT I am glad I have not gained any weight. I gotta get back on this wagon... TOM is really throwing me for a loop... I feel angry, then sad, then ok, right now i feel like crying because I'm a huge fat cow!!! I just am SICK of being HUGE. I hate my pants, my huge shirts, everything.... i even hate food, because it makes me fat. *sob* I also hate PMS because it makes me soooo moody!!!
  • It was a bad idea to start just before TOM... it's been 12 days of the 20 day shred + eating on plan and no results on the scale :-(

    weirdly I feel leaner, my clothes feel bigger, even the bf has mentioned he sees a change...

    what's up??

    184 this morning! I am hoping for 183 by the end of the week!

    Traveller - I've been at this since the beginning of May, how about you? It was much easier earlier in the summer, as I was doing field work and hiking every day - no need to exercise! Now that I'm back at home, it's so much easier to eat bad things and it takes more effort to exercise. I'm really relearning how to do this! I am hoping that's why the 180s are the bane of my existence lately!

    cb1 - I think we're in the same part of the world! Thank goodness for that storm yesterday, eh? I'd been putting off my runs because of the health advisory from all of that smoke! Also, it just felt depressing don't you think? Lets hope it doesn't come back! And I've been fighting with my SO for the past week so I definitely understand the PMS thing. LOL!

    Anna - You're losing inches but not the lbs! Nothing wrong with that! I've heard that the shred tends to do that - your muscles are working so hard during the shred that they are retaining water while they repair the little tears that make you buff in the end!! Keep it up!

    @ilovescienc Thanks, I hope you're right! I actually saw the scale move ever so slightly tody so I'm keeping encouraged...

    now, how can I let my "new" muscles know that there's no need to be retaining water? Any advice?
