Hi, Rosey. You are sure one lucky lady when it comes to bingo. What's your secet? Sounds like everythng is going well for you. Keep up the walking. that's something I haven't been able to get myself to do. I haven't done any walking in about 3 years because of orthopedic problems and that has made me very lazy. So I need to get moving. I stayed OP last week until Friday night when I gave in to the burrito craving. I've got to find a way to stay on plan on the weekends. Back on the wagon today.

Hey rosetta.. a burito isnt that bad.. just have a small one and pile lettuce and tomatoes on top.. some fat free s cream and salsa too.. thats what i do..makes a good meal.. have to say i tried taco bells club chalupa this weekend so i did try something new it was just food tho and it was as good as the add on tv showed.. gee im so suseptiable(sp?) to food adds i dont have a secret for bingo either.. i just love to gamble have a great day and u are doing it.. getting back on pts isnt easy so be proud of your self(((((hugs))))))) rosey

I haven't posted in a while, I ahve been so busy with work. I haven't got a day off in two weeks. My sugar hasn't been bad though I have a lot of stress. I had my highest number at 12 which isn't too bad. I am not sure what that number would be in the 100s. Anyway, nice chatting with y'all. Have a great long weeken this week.

Hi everyone.. thankyou for the b-day wishes.. i had agreat day..today the dh has gone to the cabin and i have lots of wonerful quiet time.. queen of the remote and dont have to cook but by tomorrow i will be sad and lonely..i dont go to the cabin.. its not my cup of "tea".. and its so far in the boonies that its to hard physically for me to go but he loves it and thats ok with me.. do any of you get an avon catalog or have adealer near you..well in the new catalog they have an exercise resistance bands that fit or clamp to your own doors and the exercises are alot like what i did at curves..im ordering one.. you all should check it out..some can be done sitting down etc..19.99 a great price i think..have dr appt friday.. hope shes pleased with my progress have a great day everyone((((((hugs)))))))))) rosey

Hi everyone.. so where are u all?? hope u are all ok and just busy..i had my dr apt today..wont know the numbers till the blood tests are back..she was more upset about my b/p than the diebetes..since it had been a yr since she has seen me my meds were out of wack..she had just come back from a seminar and she learned that elevated b/p makes elevated sugar levels ..also that i needed a meds change..she upped my glucopage and changed my b/p meds and wants me to get a b/p moniter and test that once a day too..she was pleased with the diet and exercise tho and wants to see me every 6 months now unless the b/p or sugars take a higher note .. on that note i feel great and glad thats over with.. i hate going to the dr ..so((((hugs)))))) for all u absent friends... and have agreat memorial weekend..rosey

I have been so busy lately, again. I have not had a full day off work in three weeks now.
I have been so stressed, I have even gained 3.5 pounds. I can't wait to go on vacation in July.

Morning everyone..Happy Memorial day.. it was raining when i got up but now the suns out.. we are going to a friends for a bq..and i had to bring deseart..so i made a dump cake.. actually its a cobbler but easy to make and also bringing some fresh cut up friut and strawberries for me and who ever else is watching what they eat..i am feeling a little strange with these new meds.. kinda light headed and anxious sorta like i had to much caffene..my new b/p moniter says my b/p is 117/62 which is way lower than what it was at dr office168/88..maybe thats why i feel diff..the pharmacy said that a wrist moniter like i bought reads a little lower than an arm cuff..anyways just probably my body adjusting..glen sorry your weight and sugars are flucuating.. its frustrating i know..just keep at it and it will sort itself out..it takes a while to know what works for you..hello to everyone one else((((((((hugs))))))))) rosey

I'm back again - haven't been here for a while. Have lost 12kg so far but my weightloss has stalled badly and I really need to get motivated to keep losing.

My doc recently put me back on Metformin so I am having fun with all the lovely side effects I am increasing my dose slowly so that should help.

Who else is on Metformin (Glucophage) here?
