    ma26, yeah! Me too! In fact, I have been on plan and walking daily but have only lost one pound in more than a week. I really SHOULD see a loss... but my body seems to not want to give up that 100th pound!!
  • Lynn- 100 pounds is a HUGE milestone! Congratulations! That is truly incredible.
    I wonder if our heads mess with out weight loss sometimes. If I weren't committed to an everyday weigh thread I think Id give the scale a break. Focus on being on plan and meeting my exercise goals. Then I could step on the scale a week or two later and get a nice surprise .
    Drawback.... Daily weighing does help keep me accountable. I guess when November 1 rolls around I'll assess whether I have the confidence to force a scale hiatus
  • I don't think I could do a scale hiatus near the holidays - I'll need every accountability tool I can lay my hands on.

    Maybe I'm just overly nervous, but I don't want to end a year on plan with going completely off plan and gaining!
  • Calluna- excellent point to consider. I need to just stop freaking out about what weight I haven't lost. But your right. Holidays are a scary time to ignore the scale. Two week no weigh followed by 5 lb gain would defeat the purpose.

  • After 7 weeks I have finally lost 2 pounds. Yay me and my WI is 170.4 I hope to see the 60's soon.
