Hey all!
Sotypical, I'm in Toronto and we have graduated licensing too, but they weren't as strict about who was allowed to be in the car with you when I had mine. I was fully licensed by the time those rules were in effect...but I think we definitely have more requirements than a lot of other places. Congrats! You must be so excited.
tuende I did NMTZ on Friday morning and thought of you during vicious plank circuit. On a related note, what weights do you use for that? I think it's getting too easy for me. My heart rate was barely up at all and it's mostly body weight training. Frustrating. Now I'm using exercises from Making the Cut and building my own circuits.
Glad everyone seems to be having a pretty good weekend for the most part!
This week was bad. There were lots of little treats around at work and for some reason I just kept eating them. I wasn't even hungry, I Just felt really bloated and gross and my weight was up. I really need to start drinking more water. (TMI warning in effect.) I have such a hard time with this and I only really commit to drinking it fully when I'm feeling the errr...
effects of not drinking enough. I'm having some of those now and I just really need to be better at this. How do you guys make sure you get your water in? I feel like I need to write it on my hand or something. I don't dislike water, but I'm not always in the mood for it. Maybe I should get some of those truvia things. Any ideas?
My weight was up a loooooot this morning and kinda freaked out about it...until my special friend paid me a visit (which explains part of the stomach problems - to put it delicately - that I was experiencing). In all honesty, I still get excited when I get my period every month. I went through years of barely getting it (if I was getting it at all) and only started to regulate (to bimonthly) by age 19 (while on metformin). Now that I get it monthly pretty much like clockwork I get excited. I really like seeing that I got my body to regulate itself and fixed whatever was wrong internally instead of letting doctors put me on the pill. I was on it for a bit at 16 but honestly, I'm not a fan of the bandaid over a bullet hole method of medicine. So yeah...it came early and that explains why I've been feeling like crap all week. Ramblings over.
ALso, has anyone noticed it's harder to get your heart rate up (I wear a monitor) when you're pms-ing? It sounds like such a random thing but I really have a tough time getting good workouts in the week before my period.
And now I'm really done. I went for a run earlier (but cramps kinda screwed that up) and now I'm lounging in my favorite pants and contemplating a heating pad and some chocolate. I need to do laundry too.
How are you guys?
