I said a prayer for DonnaLeigh and kids. Such a sad, sad situation and out of the blue too. I could not imagine having to live through it myself. I will remember to be extra thankful for the health of my family and friends today.

My take on The Ring. Not worth paying movie admission (but the popcorn was good as usual). Totally anticlimactic ending. Not worth renting the video either--besides, what if it was THE video??? You know Angie, you admit that you're afraid of things and I like that honesty. As for me, I act like scary movies don't bug me, but when I do go to them I get that butterflies-in the-stomach feeling and I clench Rick's hand like a vise. I still wanna watch though. My two all-time scariest movies (which aren't that all scary anymore now that I've seen them again) are 'Salem's Lot and The Exorcist. Barlow (the vampire) to this day is my personal "boogieman". I also don' t like any movie in which religion is not a good enough defender against evil. These 2 movies came out when I was about 3-5 years old and they still give me the creeps. Christina Aguilera in her present state gives me the creeps too. That aside I do love her voice. Washu, try KaZaa!

Had a great day yesterday at the b-day party which went well especially since there was no setting or cleaning up. Then had a great evening with family and friends made on a travel tour group. Eating was terrible, too much of everything so I'll consider that my free day for the week. I woke up extra early this morning so as soon as I get off this computer I'll get ready for my walk. Don't know yet what this day will bring but I'll make the best of it. Check back later with you girls, have a great day.

Oh yeah, at our house we have 5 cats (2 inside) and 2 dogs, a bunch of fish and a rabbit. It's becoming a zoo I tell ya.

HI girls. I mentioned DonnaLeighs name sin church today. Feels terrible knowing someone out there, is suffering so much, and could (will) lose her husband. Just breaks my heart.

I"ll do Pilates again tonight. I"m achey, but happy that my muscles are responding. Visited my grandma today, and just melted. She's so precious to me, and every time we visit her, someone mentions taht she talk to me more than anyone. Always makes me feel needed. She's got my heart.

I feel pretty good today, although hubby and I are arguing about money.. usual tense subject for us. I feel like we should give more money to our church, like tithing, but he feels God wouldjn't want us to give that kindo f money, if we can't afford to do so. I say, live by faith, and God will provide for us, while being faithful wiht our giving. Leanred that from my mother, who had nothing, but gave 10% of her income. God always provided for us. Just needing to be blessed, and I know being faithful i that will bless us in the end. Hubby's not keen on giving when we're struggling. I can understand his argument, so we're not sure what to do.

Freezing still. I'm so glad I have you girls to dump on. I"d die wihtoutan outlet. And friends hwo make me feel normal.

Chris I am glad to hear that you are doing better. I hate when my life is stopped for a week by the dredded TOM. I think you will learn to like the pilates. I know I like doing it. I am sorry to hear about your friends husband. I would just die if that happened to me.

Angie I will be talking to you later on today I am sure. You are my daily salvation from work. That last hour or two usually kill me.

Man, we're aweful wuiet nowadays. Used to see lots mroe posts. Maybe wer'e all so busy. I know I hardly get here every day. How's everybody? I got my exercise again today. Did Pilates Dvd, and also took a walk... all with my cousin, who called to ask if she could stop by and do it. She'll miss aerobics tomorrow night. She ended up staying for dinner, and then we talked and had some froxen yogurt. Then I felt like we oughta try a walk, since two girls walking is safer than one. That was good for us. Always nice to have a partner. The video is getting easier. I really like feeling flexible,a nd strong. I know my body will lok better and toned if I keep this regimen up. Yee haa.

Took a kid to the movies today. Saw The Ring. Man, spooky concept, but not as frightening as I htougth it would be. There was actually a disclaimer before hand about people with seizure problems, shouldn't see this movie. What?! Thought that was strange. Scary, but what's that gotta do with seizure problems?

Still working at this challenge. Dragging myself half the time, but getting there pound by pound.

Joe left to go goose hunting this morning. So, I will be left with the food in the house. I think I might call him later and ask if he minds if I throw some of it away.

I am full of energy today, lets hope that it lasts until I get home. If it does I will be doing a workout tape.

I am here too. I have just been busy trying to get the shelter to help me see if the dog is good with cats or not with no luck. Then someone tells me in my journal that I basically shouldn't get him because he is a pit bull...no he isn't!! I have been checking out everything I can on them and there is a difference in size and looks and temperment with kids. They just may be animal aggressive. But hey Rebel is a terrier too and he isn't. It pissed me off. Even if he was a pit bull...SO? and the point would be? Not all pits are bad. So anyway I am done ranting.

How have you all been? Kempy, I saw on the news last night about your serial killer. YIKES! Sad that there are so many sickos out there.

What show was it on Angie? I missed it. This morning on the news they said that a body was found on the edge of the Mississippi River in front of a plantation home by some tourists. They are going to do an autopsy to see if it was the serial killers victim. I really hate that it is going on so close to home.

Do want you feel is right in your heart about the dog. I know you will make the right desicion.

I guess I won't end up taking him. If they can't at least help me see how he is with cats than I can't risk my cats lives. I will go back down this weekend and see him again. I hope he looks as lost and pathetic to someone else as he did to me and they take him home. It makes me feel like a hypocrite though because Rebel is supposed to be bad with cat but he isn't. I know he was raised with them so I am sure it makes a difference but I just wanted to save an animals life.

PS: our windchill today is -25- -30 below 0 BBBRRR!!!!

Ok, I've been trying to get on this site since last night and this morning and I keep getting a message that the server is experiencing unusually high traffic...I type messages and then it gets lost in cyberspace. So yes I am here, if you can read this I consider myself lucky to have gotten through. Dragging my butt today again, fighting off this cold. Sore throat, stuffy head, etc. blah blah blah.

Kempy, that's really scary to have a serial killer on the loose. I saw it on the national news last night too. He's moving around isn't he? Let's hope the authorities catch him before he can do more harm or he crosses state lines and gets out of LA for your sake.

Angie, i hear you on that dog breed bias and that people are just misinformed or ignorant. I believe that no matter what breed a dog is his behavior is determined for the most part by his upbringing. We have a rottie/lab and although he is aggressive toward strange dogs he has no problems with kids or cats. We found out that he was taken away from his littermates too early and that was the cause of his aggressiveness. We got him when he was 9 mos. old. My other sister has a JRT and he is the sweetest, loving and most calm JRT I have ever known. He is very playful and loving with my son and even sleeps snuggled up to my nephews and their cat. Best of luck to you with Kermit. I know you would provide a good home for him.

Chris, I hear you've been working out a lot with your cousin. That's cool to have that support. I'm willing to bet you'll reach your goal sooner than you think. We'll be here cheering for you anyway. Thanks for setting up this challenge, I needed it.

I read a persons profile if their journal entries are kinda off the wall. I want to find out their age and where they're from and why their opinions would be as such...so yes, I do read profiles. Did you find something interesting?

I was just looking through the people with birthday's today. I did it yesterday too. Almost all of them have never posted. I just found it kind of weird. How could you not post here. I am totally addicted.
