    How long have you been on the program?
    I have been back for three years this month as a life time member. I had gained weight thinking that now I am at goal I don't need the weekly meetings...but I did. I have been at goal weight or below for two years now. I am finding it harder to maintain since I have been sick since Febuary. I haven't been able to exercise. I really feel that it is an important part of the program. Besides that I love to exercise. I think that is part of my heart problem. I have exercized for 3-4 hours daily since I was in grade 5.

    Wow Yipee... you are doing great. I can't beleive the pounds are jusr dropping off you.Way to go. You are on your way. Keep up the great job.

  • Good afternoon everyone: Yes, I have disappeared for awhile. I haven't been on my computer for weeks. I haven't stuck to my diet and I just feel fat!!!!!

    This is a life style change and we all slip up sometimes. But your back, that is what counts.

    Here is a great cookie recipe that gives you a treat for low points. Enjoy

    It is OK to indulge your sweet tooth occasionally, especially with tasty reduced-fat cookies such as these!

    Lemon Poppy Seed Cookies

    1/3 cup margarine, softened
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tablespoon skim milk
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
    1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup poppy seeds
    Cream margarine; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
    Add egg, beating well. Add skim milk, lemon juice and lemon rind, beating well.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
    Stir in poppy seeds.
    Divide dough into 4 equal portions; place each portion on a sheet of plastic wrap, and shape into a 4-inch x 2-inch log. Wrap logs in plastic wrap, and refrigerate or freeze until firm.
    Unwrap logs and cut into 1/4-inch slices. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
    Yield-- 64 cookies

    Protein 1g
    Carbohydrate 5g
    Fat 1g
    Cholesterol 5g
    Sodium 28mg
    Points 1 (not quite have 3 cookies for 2 points)


  • Good afternoon: Today is going OP so far. I am planning to weigh only 1 a month because I cant afford 11 dollars a week. I'm a life time member so I don't have to pay for missed meetings or rejoining fees!

  • Good morning Well, I had w/i yesterday & it was GOOD!!!!!!!! I lost 4 lbs

    Tammie...so glad to see you back & to hear you say that you're getting back OP!!!!!!

    Deelite...this is 4-5x back on WW for me. I've never reached lifetime & I always gain the weight back I was on WW last year & lost 30 lbs, then got pregnant & gained 48 ; so I'm back to finally reach goal. I'd really like to reach it by May (the big 3-0!!!!!) Hope your health is improving

  • Good morning: Today I'm going to the movies and boy the movie popcorn will be tempting!! Yesterday I went to a rummage sale and bought a little trampoline for only $3.00!! My plan is to jump on it at least for 12 min a day!

    Byrd Well, I call Fitness USA a spa, so I didn't get pampered at all. But I will bring my swim suit next time for the whirlpool that should be nice.

    Last night I went to take a pee...

    When I got up to flush...

    I seen red in the potty!

    Oh no I think I sprung a leak from one of my holes from the surgery...

    I knew it wasn't that time of the month...

    Am I going to bleed to death...

    Just then hubby comes in and says ...

    "I got to stop eating those beets! Every time I pee there is red in it..

    I started to laugh...

    Oh I thought I sprung a leak I have the same problem!

    NO DUH.....lol

  • Good afternoon: I have been running in place on my little trampoline. Boy, my foot was sore this morning! I decided shoes must be worn while jumping. My excercise is going well, but...........as I'm writing this I'm eating Halloween candy!!!

    Deelite I'm glad it was only the beets! I remember when I fed beets to my kids when they were babies and wow! I was freaking out when I show all that red in the diapers!! I never fed them beets again!!
