Wink Evening All!

I got home at 5 after 9 and all my kids were in bed, it's a miracle and my husband has earned some MAJOR brownie points, he might get lucky tonight if I can get this headache to go away!!

If anyone is challenging let me know, I can't get a response from Spryng, she must have fallen asleep in her spotless house somewhere ffrom the boredom she is suffering...POOR THING!! I will have that problem soon...I have 7 kids, who am I kidding?

I did okay today, I had a brownie and some ice cream at Bible Study, but no dinner so I think that's okay. Was on track the rest of the day I hope to exercise starting tomorrow with that Weight Lifting Video I STILL haven't opened after how many months??

Christian is up now, I spoke too soon! But that's okay, he is the least of my worries.

Back in a bit! If not, you know why

Good evening all!

It took my kids 3 hours to clean Ava's room! They were being so lazy and it was driving me nuts. So I've been stressed out most of the evening. But they've been in bed for about 20 min now and I'm starting to relax. How was everyone elses evening?

Cindi, you crack me up!! I wish my house was spotless! I get my routines done but that doesn't mean I get all my detailed cleaning done, lol.

geri, I'll meet you in FL!!! I wish! So when are you taking a vacation to kansas?? lol. Have a nice time at your grandma's!

Mel, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thought stuff in front of the doorway would inhibit an intruder! LOL.

Leigh, yes I love online reviews! They are so handy, especially if it's of something I'm not sure about. I've wrote plenty myself too. And those layouts are so neat! they are scrap book pages?

Jill, can you post that radio station site again? I forgot what it was and I'm lazy to go search for it, lol. But I'd like to check it out too!

Ok, I'm off to bed. I hope you all have a great nights sleep! TTYL!

Hey everyone! I am home from my meeting and I took the baby so that was interesting. She was good but just everywhere. Anyway Spryng the website is www.worldradio.com I think. It is on the flylady website close to the bottom if you want to read what it says about it. I think I will try and tune in tomorrow. Sounds like everyone had a good day! I need to eat dinner and then I might watch 13 going on 30. I'll be back and forth if anyone wants to chat! TTYL

Default Evening...

Wow , a girl goes away for a few days and yall have a post a thon.

We had a nice day today. We went to Home Depot. No, not to buy anything just so my boys, even the one I married could do that manly walk around the home depot thing. Then we went out to lunch, to Sam's and Walmart and ended the day at the zoo. We have a membership so we go most every week. I love our zoo. It's smaller than Zoo Atlanta but it is so much more fun. I'm still doing pilates 6 days a week. I walked last night, but didnt' get to walk tonight, tomorrow I will.

Jill--Hope those spiders died and you were able to rid your house of them. We used to get garden spiders in our house in GA ::shudder::

Crystal--That is neat about your sister. I have several friends with large families and I absolutely love to see the family dynamics. My friend Kelly is married to Jason and they have: Justin, Kristen, Jeremy, Kayla, Jacob, and Kathrine

Michelle-I love those tickers. I should get one, by my third child I was saying ''he's almost two'' by the time Elijah turned 18 months. LOL

Spryng--that blanket is BEE U TEE FUL. So did you teach yourself? Did I mention I can chain stitich??? LOL I remember living in Kansas but I loved where we were...well except we had to drive to Topeka to get Chic fil A I do flylady on a modified plan. I'm not a clutter-er by nature, but I love the routines...after three kids it helps keep me on plan.

Leigh-sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you are able to get lots of rest and you are feeling better soon.

Mel--Yay for your on points day. I'm thinking I read that you shared the Lemon Chicken recipe? That looked fabulous and I'll be trying that soon.

Geri--5' 9.5'' I would just LOVE to be 5'9.5'' One of my dear friends is 5'9'' her hubby is 6'6'', their oldest son is 6'7'' etc etc etc...they are the tall family.

Cindi--I chuckle everytime i read your signature line. I told my hubby when we were dating that I wanted 2 boys that were mean as snakes. So he sent me three.

Let's see who am I missing??? Penny and Jaymi...hello hello, and a big hello to everyone else too.

Ok, I hope to keep up tomorrow.

Smile Good Morning

I'll start a QOTD...................: What was your favorite job ever, besides a sahm?Answer: When I was a senior in high school, I worked at the municipal court for the city of Terrell, next to the police dept. and did alot of work and such with the police officers. I had a dispatcher that he and I flirted alot and then I got out of a ticket once, because it was an officer I knew and I baked him a cake, LOL!!! It was just the funnest job ever. I loved what I did and the people I saw, it was great.

Now let's see...I went to bed at 1100 after watching White Oleander and Andrew woke up at 130, I gave him a bottle, he went back to bed and back to sleep and that was it until 530 when the alarm went off. Can you believe that, all night. I'm doing great.
Fortunately, too, since I have to be at mom's at 9am to meet the floor installers there.

Cindi, all kids in bed, that's great. If I was gone, dh would wait for me to get home. Hope you had a great night.

Cheri, that's neat about your friends and the kids with those names. Those are pretty names. I don't think I'd worry about not walking yesterday, I'd say you did. With all those places you went, you got plenty of exercise in.

Leigh, I sure hope you feel better today. Hope you got some sleep. Are you taking anything for that cold? Well, nothing that can make you drowsy!!!

Spryng, that blanket is very pretty. I haven't crocheted now in like 2 weeks. I need to, I just haven't sat in the chair long enough to. I already told my sister I was working on one for her b-day. I've got to get busy. I don't think crocheting is anything I can do always. Just when like I have the baby and I'm not doing a whole lot of stuff. I know how kids cleaning a room can drive you crazy. That happens to me.

Hello to Jill, Kristin, Jaymi, Angel, Michelle, Penny, Mindee, and anyone I missed. Sorry. Hope everyone has a gret day.

I won't be back for a while because I'll be gone most of the day to my mom's. I wish I could post pics, but I haven't figured out how, and my mom is taking pictures on one of those disposables.

Morning Crystal.....HMmmmm My favorite job was at the Gym where I met my DH.

Last night wasn't too bad. Bugga only woke up once, and he might have fallen back to sleep if I didn't going in right away, but I was up to go to the bathroom so I figured I'd better go in then instead of having to get back up again.

Still doing great OP.

Anway, I check back in with you all later. I know this thread is going to go crazy soon.

Good morning all!

Well I slept pretty good last night and I actually have stuff planned for today! LOL.. I've got to go to walmart this morning and to my bank to deposit some cash, so I get to get out of the house!! LOL. Dinner tonight will be a cambells supper bake, I really like those for some reason. And I also need to write out a grocery list for next week because tomorrow is shopping day!

QOTD-- favorite job? LOL.. is that an oxy moron? I didn't think job and fun could go together, JK! Well I worked as a car hop at Sonic when I was 17 and I liked it, it was actually hard work but the people I worked with were fun and great tips!

Mel, glad you got a better nights sleep! And so glad you are doing great OP. Keep up the good work!

Crystal, I know what you mean about not being able to crochet whenever you want. I would love to be able to sit all day and crochet but life happens, lol. When I was with Dh I finished that other blanket in two days because I worked non-stop on it... I don't have that luxury with this new one. But I'm 1/4 of the way done, lol.. that's progress!! But now since I'm staying on top of my flylady stuff I can devote more time to crochet without feeling guilty that I should be doing something else. You can get those disposible cameras developed and put on a cd at walmart... then you could share that kitchen with us! Hope the flooring goes well today! So happy for you!

Cheri, so glad to see you again! Sounds like you had a long day yesterday. Did I teach myself to crochet... well... my mother and grandmother crocheted when I was growing up, my mom was dyslexic so she could never teach me anything past a chain because it would confuse her because she did most things backwards... but my grandma taught me the single crochet... here it is years later and I decide one day I want a hobby and crochet is all I could think of, so I bought a beginners kit at walmart and the pictures are fool proof, you can't mess up! LOL.. so that is how I started. So I kinda taught myself, definitely all these new patterns and such I'm going alone on so I think I have taught myself alot in the past few months. I can read a pattern now and that was the biggest challenge because they can look like greek at times! LOL. But having the internet really helps with that, if I get too confused I post the question on a crochet board I go to and someone will help me out.

Jill, thanks for that radio station link! Does anyone know what 11-1 pst is on my time, central?? Did you watch 13 going on 30, how was is? I've been wanting to rent it, it looks so cute!

Well I guess I should get off here and get around. I want to get my routine done before I leave this morning. So I will TTYL!

Morning Liam and I slept in until 8:30, which is a very good thing DH is in Florida covering the storms . . . he loves covering hurricanes. I've been watching lots of court TV to see coverage of the Scott Peterson case. I always thought he was guilty, but wasn't sure if it was a "moment of passion" crime, or planned ahead, etc. But now that I hear those tapes of his conversations with Amber Frey, it seems more and more like he just wanted Laci gone. I think he had no idea her dissappearance/death would get so much media attention and he thought she'd never be found and he'd have a new life with Amber.

Geri- we may be able to meet Labor Day weekend- we're splitting the trip between Sarasota and Boca, but I'll ask DH the specific dates we'll be where (he does all the travel planning- I like to just show up!) and then pm you about it. Have a good trip North.

Cindi- LOL re: Spryng falling asleep in her spotless house. And, as you say, I think the brownie is okay since you had no dinner. I'm sure that balances out calorie-wise.

Spryng- please do come to FL . . . we could have everyone meet in Boca Raton LOL and we could all go for a healthy meal somewhere! Yes, those are two scrapbook pages - though they're hard to see in the photos.

Jill- how was the movie?

Cheri- I love the zoo too. We have a membership and go quite often. The zoo here is nice - they're continually improving it. When I first saw it - 6 or so years ago- I wasn't all that impressed, but it's gotten a lot better.

Crystal- Hope you have fun at your mothers place - I bet the floor being in will really pull the whole look together!

Melissa- ahhh - you met DH at the gym I can see why that would be your favorite job!

QOTD: Well, I loved doing my research and writing my dissertation for my doctorate - but does that count since I wasn't getting paid? I participated/observed a congregation of Messianic Jews for two years, did tons of research/reading about religion, Jewish-Christian history, etc. Although most people hate having to write their dissertation, I absolutely loved it. I would have become a professor, except I really hate teaching, so that was out. Also, I was ready for the next phase of my life - being a wife and becoming a mother.

Crystal,
Glad you had a good nights sleep. How are the kids doing with the school work? The kids here don't start for another week or so. When is your next dr. appt? I know it is prob on your sig... I'll check it out

Spryng,
I have tried those Campbell bakes too. I really enjoyed the ones I have had. And it is pretty cheap for a meal. Has dh heard anything about the offer? I hope everything turns out good! Have fun at Walmart!!!

Mel,
You are doing awesome on plan! Weigh to GO!!!!!!!

Crystal,
Glad your night was well. Bet your mom's place look great!

Jaymi,
Did you ever get a chance to get any exercise in? Hope today is a good day for you.

QOTD: I have only had three jobs in my life.... so I'll tell you all three...lol They were all pretty equal... My parents owned their own hunting and fishing store so I worked their from 15 to 20 years old. I had Hunter and Nicholas while working there and both the boys came to work with me. The closed the store down so I went to work for my uncle as a Apartment Manager.... My aunt offered me a greater job with better pay as a Accounts Payable, Payroll Manager/Division manager asst.... so I worked there until half way through my pregnancy. My kids were going to child care 2xweek and my mil 3x week. I was just missing them so much and didn't want to miss anything w/ andrew so I asked for my leave.... she understood. So here i am Sorry to ramble.....lol

Ok two more things.....lol

One.....

Hi to everyone else on the board I didn't wanna leave you all out!

and Two:

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to get some material for my class curtains... and I found these creat-a-mugs at the register. They were so neat! They are $.77 and it is a plastic mug that has three different sheets the kids can color. The sheet slides in the plastic around the mug and they have there own mug! I just thought it was sooooo cute! and the boys loved their own "mug"!

Just thought I'd share!

Have a great day

Good Moring gals! I gotta start getting down here earlier! Hda a great wlak with my friend yesterday, I wore my pedometer, 7000 steps!!!!!! That is a about 3 1/2 miles! I felt great! I don't have time to get personal with everyone, just what I can remember off the top of my head (which isn't much) but a big THANK YOU!!! to all of you who gave me recipe ideas! I knew you gals would back me up! I printed off enough ofr 2 weeks worth of meals yesterday and I have so many more that looked good!

Spryng - we definately need to meet some day!!! Dh is in Omaha, where? maybe I can go stalk him and tell him I know you from the internet, that would be freaky huh!!!!

Jill - that radio talk show sounds really cool, I can't wait to listen, not today though Got lunch company today and my little cousin is coming over this afternoon she is 6, and sydney and her can play!

Leigh - I agree with you about the Scott Peterson trial. JUst sick all around if you ask me!

QOTD - I loved my first job the best..itwas working at hy-vee grocery store...my mom was the regional accountant, so I was "flexible", meaning if they needed me to , I could work in any department, I never had to sack groceries, and there were tons of hot guys that worked there! THat is also where I met DH !!! He was working there his junior year of HS, in the produce department All the shift manager were in there early or mid twenties and so I was hanging out with them, and even dated 2 of them, and they would buy us alcohol (I was a good kid, just did the occasional bad thing) ...it was a fun time!

well I need to get off here and get some stuff done before I have to get lunch started! TA-TA-4-NOW!!!!!!
