Spryng - On LA, I can have list of certain foods. The breakdown is 2 P, 3 V, 3 F, 2 S, 1 F, 4oz Milk, 2 La lites. The La Lites are shakes, bars, snacks, etc. Since I am nursing, I can only take the bars. You would think they would not sell the other things. If it is not safe for your baby to ingest, why should we put it in our bodies. I hope you are feeling better. Try hot tea and a heating pad.

Working tomorrow, so I hope to get on tomorrow night. Have a good Monday! It has to be better than last week for me.

Hi all...thanks for the kind words. I'm better but very, very tired. My Uncle is not doing well...waiting for the phone call...I hope it happens quickly . Cried so hard when my Aunt told us my Grandma, who will be 94 in Nov, said "he can't go before I do" about my uncle. It'll be her 3rd son to die. I'm so sad for her.

OK, gotta go. I'll talk to you all tomorrow. I love you guys!

Default Hey Friends!

I went shopping with a friend and we had dinner out at an italian restuarant. It's really hard to make a wise choice there, I had Chicken Parm, ate all of the chicken and left alot of the pasta and had a salad. I probably overdid it a bit, but I didn't have alot of anything else today, so maybe it will even out. I had a nice time away from the kids and that was worth it to me.

Glad to see that spirits are lifting!!!

I am going to do more crunches and lunges...I did 100 crunches this am, but only about 15 lunges, I did that many two days ago and felt it good(still do)!! So maybe 5 more walking lunges to add to that number. I am just doing a variety of toning exercises daily as I watch TV and am still trying to find a daily spot for the exercise, as I just can't get up any earlier at this point. But the stronger muscles should increase my endurance to do the cardio when I can fit it in!

Hope the rest of the evening is p;easant for all! Gotta go get Justin from work now!

Good evening all!
I'm usually so glad sunday is about over... weekends really bore me to death when DH isn't here. But this weekend hasn't been too bad at all. Despite my bad morning I am in a great mood.
Cindi, my DH loves chicken parm.! It sounds like you had a nice time. Italian is my favorite cuisine so I never make good choices there. I love Olive Garden and I usually order the ravioli de portibello, yum! I do have the salad but the dressing on it is really high in fat (did you know they use raw eggs in that dressing?) and of course I go crazy with the breadsticks. Thankfully we don't go there very often. When I was pregnant with Tanner we went there every time I had a doctor appoint so towards the end it was once or twice a week! No wonder I was so HUGE! LOL. But it's always so good.
Penny how has the past couple of days been going for you on SB? I'm looking forward to this new week too!
Geri, my heart goes out to you and your grandma. How difficult that must be for everyone. Get some rest and if you ever need to talk I'm here 24/7, just call ok?
Melinda, that is strange they won't let you have the shakes because you are nursing. What is in them that could be harmful?? I am feeling a little better tonight. Still am aching when I move around and feel alot of pressure in my abdomen (it feels swollen) but much much better than this morning. Hopefully though I am my old self tomorrow. We start on a new zone and I want plenty of enerfy for it! lol.
Crystal, so glad you are feeling better tonight. Maybe just getting out of the house cheered you up.
Michelle, that is funny about the broccoli. My ds (3 yo) will fight you for broccoli. He loves it. But he loves most veggies and fruit, thankfully. And my dd is a meat eater. So they balance themselves out.
Julie, what is sheppards pie??? Sounds interesting. Is it like a pot pie?

Well, guess I need to call it a night. TTYL!

There are many variations of this recipe but here is one of them

My hubby loves it!

1 can cream corn
Mashed potatoes
Cheese slices (any kind)

Brown ground beef. Put in bottom of a casserole dish. Put cream corn, then mashed potatoes, then cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Spryng I make it all different ways. Whatever I have on hand. Brown ground beef, add salt and pepper to taste, brown gravy mix, or brown gravy in the can, frozen mixed veggies or fresh, (whatever you like) mix all together and top with hot whipped mashed potatoes, and you can put shredded cheese on top. Bake at 375 for 30-45 min until hot and bubbly. It is so good. Probally healthier than pot pie because it doesn't have the crust? Glad you are feeling better. Julie

Hi girls!!

It was a pretty wonderful day here. Got a lot done and me and hubby watched a movie together and actually had a good conversation which you all know how rarely that happens with kids crying and screaming and begging for attention. So it was nice.
I got 116 oz of water in today so thats pretty good. I've been working on drinking more water. We got Taylors room cleaned tonight which was just a disaster area so I'm glad to have that done. Floors are scrubbed and kitchen clean and Laundry is done and put away!! I wont have anything to do tomorrow lol.

Ok here is my recipe for Shepards pie and mind you mine doesnt have veggies in it cuz my hubby is a meat and potatoes guy strictly.

2lbs ground beef
2 packets lipton beefy mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
Mashed potatoes

brown the beef add the 2 packets of beefy mushroom along with the 1/2 cup of water cover and let simmer for about 10 min. In the meantime prepare your tatoes and set aside. Put your beef in the bottom of casserole dish and then spread the potatoes evenly. put in the oven heated to 375 for about 30 minutes .
Ok just had to put my recipe in lol I really like it with the beefy mushroom stuff.

Anyway I'm really glad to see that everyones weekend got better!!

Goodnight
Michelle

Smile Good Morning

Good morning all. It's 615 but I am still so sleepy. Maybe I'll get a chance to nap today.

Spryng, glad you enjoyed your weekend. And I've got several recipes for shepards' pie. I've never made it or eaten it. It just doesn't appeal to me for some reason.

Michelle, wow on the water in take. I've been doing well except for this weekend. My almost 3 yo. loves broccoli too. She would eat it for like the entire meal. She does NOT eat chicken at all. I've tried tricking her and she knows and spits it out. Will not eat it at all, I can't figure it out.

Geri, so sorry to hear about your family's tragedy. I really hope it comes to an end soon for y'all. I will keep you all in my prayers.

To all of you others, HI!!!

As you can see, I'm in a better mood. I'm glad it's Monday, back on plan and ready to get my routines started. Does anyone know what our zone is this week, I haven't even checked? I've got a slight problem, I stepped on a belt buckle last night and I mean on the little stick piece that goes into the holes. YEAH!!! It didn't go into my foot, it went into my skin and out my skin. It is SO sore, I have to tiptoe around. I may have to wear shoes today in order to get all my chores done as painlessly as possible. Thank you again girls for helping me through this weekend. I hope everyone has a great day.

TTYL

Hi Ladies!

Crystal,
You sound so much better I am glad you are doing better! Ouch ! On the belt buckle! I dont think there is anything you can do about it. It is kind of like breaking your toe

This is going to be a great week for losses!

This week on flylady:
The Front Porch, the Entrance area and the Dining Room

But only focus on one! I am doing my porches this week. Since Andrew's bday party is next month and it is outside, I need to get the porches extra clean

Have a great ON PLAN DAY EVERYONE!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY WILL!!

Today will be a great day no matter what happens...it's my big boy's birthday!!
He got his first present this morning...a new Schwin bike. It took him about 15 minutes to go even close to it (he's kind of strange around anything new) but now he can't wait to go out and ride it. Unfortunately it's not even 40 degrees yet so he'll have to wait!! later we're making cupcakes and he'll get to decorate and then his grandma's are coming over for dinner. The big party isn't until the 15th because Tony's bday is the 19th so we're having a combined party.

I have to make this quick! Crystal, so glad you're feeling better too.

Thanks all of you for your kind words. It really helps. Gotta get going here. I'll talk to you all later.

Good Morning ladies!!

Crystal and Geri - I'm soo happy to see that the both of you are feeling better today!! I'm sending out big hugs to you!!

Well since I don't really have porches and a small entry way and a small dining room I think I'm gonna work on the coat closet and the utility closet for this week. My utility closet is packed!! And my coat closet is almost full too I tell you I have so many shoes that I can't even wear since I got fat lol It will be nice to have cute shoes again lol, But for now I'll stick with my comfy nikes!

Ok haven't really thought about breakfast but I'm gonna have 1/2 cup cottage cheese and a couple cups of coffee with fat free non dairy creamer and sugar free davinci syrup. yummyy!!! I'm trying to get my body used to eating smaller portions but on the south beach diet its crazy I can eat soo much food and still come in under 1200 calories a day!! Oh yeah I'm adding a cup of tomato juice to my breakfast.

Anyway my lil cherub is crying to be picked up, I'm gonna go give her some lovin!

See you guys later and Hugs to all!!

Good morning all.
Boy I feel terrible this morning. Like someone kicked me in the stomach. I'm debating going to the ER. I mean it only hurts when I move around so maybe I'm just sore from yesterday or could it be something else?? I'm going to see how the next few hours go. I took some extra strength tylenol and it doesn't seem to be helping. It hurts so bad when I move around but if I am sitting I feel great. Walking requires me to hobble bent over like an old woman, lol. Ugh. I just want to feel good so I can clean my front porch!!! lol.

Geri, leave it to our kids to show us the good in the world. Even when such sadness is around us we look at our kids growing up and we smile despite it all Sounds like you have a wonderful day ahead!!! :
Crystal, so glad you are much happier today and so sorry about that belt buckle. Sounds painful. Hopefully it heals fast.
Michelle do you take a multivitamin? Getting in all that water is great but don't forget that there is such a thing as too much water. You could be washing vital nutrients out of your body so be sure to take a multi-vitamin.
Julie that pie does sound very good. I'll have to check out cookinglight or something so I can figure out the pts for it. I have all the ingrediants though so I'll have to try it sometime this week.

Well guess I will go check out my flylady stuff and see what I can get done today without overdoing it. I just feel like crap. My front porch is very small though so it should get done today. It's mostly shoes and jackets that need to be put away. I hope I can manage that. DH will be home this friday and I am so excited!!! We are planning a trip to the zoo on sat or sun. (I hope I am better by then)
Julie was it you that said you used to get ruptured cysts and you were sore for a few days? I hope that's what is going on with me. Last time I got one after the initial rupturing pain I felt normal again with no more aching or anything. So this is really making me worry I guess. Maybe I should read up on it. TTYL!
