I did take them out of the pie boxes and put them on a tray covered with a embroidered white linen cloth for delivery to the Church. Does that restore part of my Martha status?

So sorry about your misphap yesterday--So glad that you took care of yourself and went to the ER. I used to work in an ER---that is nothing....My favorite story was the name who took one of the bands, the kind that you put around plumming pipes to keep them tight, and he tightened it around his penis....

now, it is funny, he was crazy, but he waited so long to come into the ER that it was swollen and they were scheuling him for surgery. The doctor that was on was this man who came from a political family....like american royalty, so I won't mention his name, --it is not a Kennedy.... He would always get these strange patients, he was a tall, lanky "Frasier-from the tv show" type. He was so frustrated that he came out of the treatment room and grabbed a big tube of KY jelly with his latex gloves, went it and you heard the big squeeze of the tube and the guy moaning and the doctor popped it off....we all giggled.....that was embarassing......choking ---not funny....we always took that very seriously, and food lodging happens more than you think...

Ruth....good for you...remember Martha has an entire staff that assists her....the key to her.. d-e-l-g-a-t-i-n-g so you are right in alignment with Ms. Martha!!

and yes, if you have the money, spend it on yourself!!!

Great Ad, Rowan! Bailey looks really cute in that carrier. Do you really use one, or was that just for the ad? I love dogs...DH is not a dog-man.

Ellis, I bet you were scared to death! Poor girl! Does your arm still hurt? Do they think your esophagus is spasming? I had spasms for a while - strange feeling, I always thought my heart was having problems beating, but fortunately not. A friend of mine has to have his esophagus stretched every few years. Easy to do, but you have to go to sleep for it. When is your appointment?

Ruth...those terrorist that were at your house a few weeks ago????? Well, they showed up in Oklahoma last night!! My girls were going berserk!! I kept getting up to look but, saw nothing!! The terrorist are so good at hiding!!! I am tired today...need a nap.

tomorrow I get these stitches and staples out!!! YEA!! What a relief!! It takes over two hours to get to the City but, I don't care. I am so ready!!! laters...

That is a real carrier. My old guy pal used to it to carry him when we went to flea markets, shopping or on that particular trip to Sedona, it was raining and the mud there is RED and his paws would have tracked red mudd all over the truck.

Sedona is a great place...

Yes, I'm really British, Jennifer. My arm is much better, thank you. I don't think it was spasming. This has happened to me about 6 times over the last couple of years, but every other time I was able to swallow and swallow and get the food down within about 5 minutes. I think my appointment is this coming week... they're going to call and let me know. I'll wait to rewrite my will, I think.
You must have been scared as old heck thinking you were having a heart attack! Death will just have to wait. We're far too busy right now.
