The field trip was great! Only had a few kids act up (touching things they shouldn't), but overall they were good. McDonalds was fun too. We had called ahead and told them exactly how many of each type of Happy Meal we needed, so they had them all ready when we arrived.
I did make it in to school to get my lesson plans finished. We have to make a copy and turn them in to the principal, but I didn't have time since we were leaving on the field trip. Need to do that this morning.
I've never had a pedicure. Maybe I should try it sometime.
Don't like poison ivy!!! Haven't had it in years, thank goodness. Take care.

Tina, pedicures are wonderful!!!! I treat myself to them about once a month. It feels sooooo good even when you have short stubby toes!!! Have a blast on your trip!!

Well, I've made it all most all week without cheating. I hope I stay on this roll. I called my dermatologist to say I needed the steriods. My lotion just ISN"T cutting it!!!! I think I'm going to claw my arms off. Now isn't that a sight!!!! I took the first dose and I already have some relief. Only thing is I dread the side effects!!! Oh well better than itching.

wouldn't it be great if we could have a big pedicure party! I've heard of such things. Wow, they'd never get rid of us we'd be chatting and laughing so much.
I do recommend getting ones toes done. Susan, good for you getting yours done so often. How much do you have to pay?
Well group, my trip is just hours away. If I don't have it ready, it's not going in the cases. I'm so happy that I can leave my cell phone at home. I can leave all Mother's information at home. I don't have to worry about taking care of my mother for a whole week. No one will know my name or care who I am.
I can sit on the pure white beach or stay in the clear blue water.
I don't drink but my husband is teasing me that he bets I have a rum punch on the flight over. Who knows, I may.
Y'all take care of each other and don't forget about me.

My trip was fantastic. I guess I should get on the scales and see what it says. I was so active and tried to drink so much water that I don't expect a huge gain.

It's been a crazy week around here. Don't know if I'm coming or going or both at the same time. It's been TAKS/SDAA week. For those of you not in the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS, that is our big state test!! Have I ever said I hate taking tests and I hate giving them!! I've come home and colapsed most days.

My Trip--- It was something!!!!!
Caymanian food is spiced with lots of hot peppers and green & red bell peppers and onions and all kinds of spices. I think y'all could find something there to eat.
We ate coconut crusted fried shrimp, conch fritters, key lime pie, scotch bonnet (pepper) potato salad, and the list goes on.
One thing I refused to eat was anything turtle. I just couldn't do it.
We went on a 1/2 day snorkeling trip to see and play with the stingrays! Then, we went to coral reefs but the wind was whipping the water so that I didn't want to stay out there more than 5-10 minutes. (I'm not a swimmer and those waves scared me.)
We enjoyed sitting on our condo balcony each morning where we'd eat breakfast. Birds would come to eat with us. I'd feed them crusts of bread. If I got a good photo, I'll post it.

Hey, I try to get in here to post, but this thing is contrary very often!
I was in Chicago this weekend. We had so much fun. Cold and windy, but a very nice time. Always glad to be home and in my own bed though! lol
I'm going to take Tim to school in a few minutes, then coming home and nap before I have to be at school by 11:30. The weekend and the drive home wore me out a little bit. Old age!
I must say that there were no hotties at the condo to serve me drinks with little umbrellas.
Susan, congratulations on going back to WW this Thurs. Good for you.
Anyone have special plans for Mother's Day? My sister and I (and all the family) will take Mother out to eat after church. There's an Italian place that my nephew thinks is good. I think it's pricey but will go there this time. We've been going to a Mexican restaurant each year and I'm definitely tired of that.
(It's too hard to cook at someone's house since there are kids running around and so many of us.)
