Ha, I'm four months pregnant! I read that a few months ago
That was the book that spurred my weight loss when my DS was born. He is my 2nd child. Just before becoming pregnant with my DD, I had done a full set of body measurements and goals and wrote them all down. Then found out I was pregnant and decided not to pursue weight loss. 4 years later, pregnant again, I pulled out the book and found the paper with all the measurements. I was still the same weight! I decided right then and there to devote myself to dieting after I had my baby. And I did! 6 months after he was born, I started and lost somewhere around 40 pounds.
I'm reading The Good Food Revolution by Will Allen. I wasn't expecting it to be as much memoir as it is, but I'm glad. That's making it much more riveting than I imagined it would be.
Secrets of a Former Fat Girl by Lisa Delaney - if you want real motivation you should try this one and also Half ***- memoir by Jennett Fulda. Great reads...
I liked Jennette Fulda's memoir, sept2012. My other favorite weight loss memoir was Born Round by Frank Brun. Can you imagine losing your weight and then being asked to be New York Times restaurant critic?
The Hero of Ages ... Brandon Sanderson. I downloaded it onto the Kindle not knowing the author and without a great deal of enthusiasm but I felt like taking a stab in the dark. Well written fantasy and holding interest so I have hopes for it and the sequels.
