I'd encourage anyone to take their time and start higher, then eventually work their way down to lower amounts as time passes.

Of course, if you want more immediate results, this isn't the way to do it - but if you have time, like I do, then it works nicely.
These are my thoughts exactly!

I signed up for loseit and looked around it looks like a good site to track, but now I am so use to myfitnesspal I don't think I could change LOL but both sites encourge you to eat your actitivy points. I avg approx a 1lb a week but don't lose it that way.

I usually hold steady for 2-4 weeks then have a 3-4lb loss--crazy I know!

Anyway would love to have any myfitnesspal users add me as a friend same name as here

Ain't that the truth!

Does anyone know how I can reset days? I work nights and I reset my calories at noon but it's not reset on this.

I'm losing on 1900-2000 calories per day at 175 lbs. Not fast, mind you, but I'm not in a hurry.

I'd try it and see how it goes. You can always adjust later, if you feel the need.

I lost about 50 pounds on a 1800 calories/day diet when I started at 268.
