I totally agree with the quality control issues and how different colors or just different articles of the same exact clothing are not standard.

It's kind of a pain to have to try on every single thing and not be able to rely on knowing what size you are. But I think that overall, the clothing is decent quality for what you pay, esp. because there are always sales and I have never paid full price for anything there (and never would!)

Yeah they have some cute stuff if you get it on sale, and can see some reviews or try something on to know how wonky the fit/sizing might be because with their stuff you never know.

They opened up a bunch of Ross stores in the area lately and I've really been having some good luck there. My favorite is a pair of jeans I found last week that I just love for $15. And they were petite too! Something I like + having it in my size + petite = impossible usually. They were a 16, I already looked for the same pair in a 14 to have on hand for later but unfortunately I wasn't THAT lucky.

Old Navy pants vary widely. I bought a pair of size 2 pants in their "Sweetheart" style, in one color, and couldn't wear the same style pants in another wash. I had to buy a 6 in those. Went back a few months later and couldn't get into the 6 at all in one wash in the style, and got into a 4 in a different wash, same style.

ON definately has some wonky sizes. I have a pair of pants, same size, same brand (sweetheart), regular length, different wash. The light wash is WAY to big now, and too long, the darker wash fits perfect right now (sz18 both of them) but is a tiny bit on the short side! It's crazy. I have a sweater from there, thats an XL...its gotten HUGE! it practically drapes off me, but I have other shirts that are the same size, that fit perfect now. I've just gotten in the habit, when visiting there, of trying EVERYTHING on! drive the hubby crazy, but he gets over it. He usually takes our little dudes to the arcade while i'm doing this LOL!
