HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

I woke up early today, excited over all the
things I get to do before the day ends.
My job is to choose what
kind of day I am going to have....
Today I can complain because
the weather is rainy or ...
I can be thankful that the grass
is getting watered for free.
Today I can grumble about my health or...
I can rejoice that I am alive.
Today I can mourn my lack of friends or...
I can excitedly embark upon a
quest to discover new relationships.
Today I can murmur dejectedly because
I have to do housework or..
Today I can whine because I have to go to work or...
I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.
I can feel honored because Life has provided
shelter for my mind, body and soul.
Today stretches ahead of
me, waiting to be shaped.
And here I am, the sculptor
who gets to do the shaping.
Today I am going to have a GREAT DAY
because I am blessed with many gifts
in my life... Especially gifts like YOU!
Have A Wonderful Day gals!
I will see you all tomorrow and fill you in on all
my adventures of having a roof put on

So this month, I will focus on my eating as well.

Was actually looking forward to it. Is that normal?
Continue fitting into my previously-too-tight-clothes which is a daily reminder to stay OP.

~ as of Monday morning at 7:30 ---
My Mom gave it to me & it was passed down from her mother to her. I was soooo bummed out for like 2 days! I was sitting at the table with Joe having lunch when it all happened!! Joe had just gotten up from the table to get us drinks, otherwise the way the lamp fixture was swagged it would have hit Joe in the face/chest... so it could have been so much worse of a situation. So I did some searching on the net to get a value of the tureen before he got here and after almost 2 hours of searching I finally found it. It had a value of $69.00 listed and could be auctioned off at around $75.00 - $80.00. He gave us $80.00 for the Soup Tureen and $20.00 for the trinkets that broke in my picture box when it fell off the wall in our spare room... we owed them $250.00 for the sheets of rotted wood that were replaced (over & above the cost of the roof materials & job, which we were informed about prior to the job) and so he took the $100.00 off there and I wrote him a check for $150.00 instead of $250.00. Joe & I were please with the $100.00 he took off and his apology for the accident. He also will see what he can do about warning future clients in the ranch style homes and manufactured homes (like ours) of possible damage & to secure their treasures & fixtures. I am going to make a follow up call in a week and see what is being done ~ for my peace of mind, wanting them to say something before a job is done to clients, and sparing others of this kind of loss
