I'm afraid I'm still in the dream land of thinking I can eat whatever I want and still do well. Every day of healthy eating feels good, but still feels like something that someone should reward me for. Need to do this for myself! not for someone else's reward!

I am inspired by these posts, maybe they'll move me along the path.

I'm not sure, really. Maybe four months. I know I was definitely in a good place by Spring and I started in November. Every day since then has just been easier and easier. It's the very easiest when I resist foods that cause cravings.

Almost stupid easy. (I heard that term somewhere, thought I'd use it here. )

Everyone thinks it's so much harder when you completely ban the foods that you crave the most - but nope - just the opposite.

Two things -

#1 - change what you want to eat. Even if you don't believe it at first. Fake it. Eventually you'll come to know it.

#2 - your words - "every day of healthy eating feels good" - That's the reward and it's just the beginning. The feeling good is immediate reward and then there's the over the top long term rewards.
