Thanks for the great advice everyone. I have to check some of those books out certainly! I know the doctor's advice seems rather strict but I think she's being overprecautionary because I've miscarried. She just wants to make sure that I'm "creating the healthiest environment possible for conception" or something to that effect. I've known lots of women who are eating salami and blue cheese and sushi during their pregnancies with no problems but not all of us have that kind of luck I guess.

This is what I do.

Can you get a bunch of chicken breasts and cook them the night before and then toss them in a salad or a wrap or something? Then you'll have several days worth of meals.
