Hey girls...I'm back from weigh-in........I lost 2 lbs , eating well within the points range this time. I still think last weeks "under points" caused me to lose less than I normally would!!! Oh well, 5 lbs are gone that wouldn't be if I hadn't went back to WW, so I'll just think about the positive instead of the negative How is everyone doing today?

Hey Deelite, no big deal over the typo

pookasmom, what kind of job do you have that there is a gym? Good for you on getting your exercise in...just don't get caught. I wasn't a very good girl this week w/exercise. I meant to do it 3x, but only did 2x. Oh well, 3x will be my goal again this week.

Have a great one

Byrd CONGRATULATIONS
Great weight loss. Keep it up. Just for fun go and pick up a five pound bag of potatoes and carry it around for a few minutes. It weighs quite a bit. Way to go.

Today I am making some homemade chicken noodle soup and some muffins. It starting to smell yummy.

It is a beautiful sunny day here. Hope that you all have a wonderful day.

Good afternoon: Today is day 4 still going good. Last night when the dog got me up, I tend to nibble. Last night I had a sip of skim milk and that worked! Today I went grocery shopping and I found Healthy choice country veg. soup. You can eat the whole can for 2 points! Also, I bought those WOW Dorito chips and sorted out 15 servings! It took a while but it's hard to stop eating those!

byrd congrats on your weight loss

Pookasmom WTO with the treadmill. It is hard to exercise with a little one. My little one is finally in K so I can exercise than.

Deelite Hope your having a good day.

Have a nice evening

Well I did 20 minutes Tuesday, 21 minutes Wednesday and 22 minutes today on the treadmill at work. It's not much but I'm so out of shape. I've lost 24 pounds in 12 weeks without exercising and it's time to start. I'm very flabby. What good is being thin if you're not toned and you don't look good and feel good. I actually work for a huge financial company and we are in a building until March, 2001 that has a gym (and it's FREE). They have all the weight machines, treadmills, showers, etc. so it's perfect. I'm finding myself much more hungry since I started this and I'm eating at the high range of my points and my extra point I earned for doing the treadmill. Well 23 minutes tomorrow (hope I can do it).

Hi! I rejoined WW this week. I had joined last fall when I started grad school, and had some success until Thanksgiving/Christmas/Exams/the flu hit me almost all at once. I half-heartedly rejoined after the holidays but never really got back into it. I am pleased to report, however, that when I went this week, I weighed 10lbs less than I did when I started last year!!! And, I THINK that I weigh less than when I quit going last spring. I currently weigh 179 and see myself having around 40lbs to go. I feel confident this time, but still find exercise to be a challenge. I have no time lately to do much of anything. Classes, studying, work, and church all keep me pretty busy. I will find time though. It is only 30-45 minutes, eh? I look forward to giving and receiving support here. Oh, and I am 29 but nearing 30 and decide to join y'all. Thanks!

Oh, and even though my screen name is Bama BERT, I am a female. Bert is just a nickname a good friend gave me years ago. :-)

Welcome Bama Bert & congrats on re-joining WW I know how you feel about the exercise...I believe that is the worst part for all of us. Right now I have all the time in the world to exercise, but do I do it???, of course not. I do intend to get in 3x this week though. Good luck to you.

Tammie...hope you had a good (& point friendly) time at the rehearsal dinner & wedding

pookasmom...you're doing great w/the exercise...keep it up

Deelite...how are things going w/you??

This is my 17th day OP. I wouldn't be able to do it on my own, but things are working out OK since I know I have to go weigh in. Also, the one thing that is helping me get some exercise in is that our group leader has a "contest" going where we are walking to Key West & when we get there, she's going to make a key lime pie & bring it to the meeting for us to try We just let her know how many miles we walked/rode during the week & she's adding them up. She even tells us where on the road we are. Pretty cool idea!!!

Hope everyone is having a great w/e.

Hi Everyone
Sorry that I haven't posted for a while.
I haven't been feeling well.

Byrd So how many more miles to Key West? Key Lime Pie is my favorite pie.
How many miles did you guys have to go to start with? Did you have a good week end?

Bama Bert Welcome to our group.
How have things been going with you?

Tam36How was the wedding? Was it nice weather for you? Was it hard to stay on program? Well if it was that is in the past and you can start all over if you have to!

Pookasmom How are you doing? How many minutes of exercise did you complete last week? I love to exercise. It is one of my favorite things to do. I have had to cut way back I really miss it and am envious of anyone I see jog by. I have gained weight because of lack of exercise. I am still just under goal but not by much.
I gained about8-10 lb since Febuary.

I go for my first weigh-in tomorrow around noon. I feel good about it. I was really good today and probably drank 2x as much water as required!!! I haven't exercised, but on Monday's I have class basically from 9am until 9pm!!! That's enough for me to handle in one Monday! I'll let y'all know what I find out tomorrow!!!

Hi,

Well I went for weigh in last night and gained a pound. How depressing. I feel very bloated. I have been trying to do the treadmill each day for 30 minutes at 3 miles per hour. I know that's not fast but I'm so out of shape. Each week I'm going to increase my speed. I have a 1/2 day today at work so I'll be able to do my walk when I get home. I really wanted to lose 30 by my baby's first b-day party October 21st (since I haven't seen so many people since my heaviest weight) but that's not going to happen. I'm drinking my water, staying in points and walking...what more can I do!!

pookasmom
Don't worry about the weight gain. It could be muscle your building that increased your weight. Or it could be that time in your cycle. Sometimes the weight loss doesn't show up for a week or two. Keep it up! It is only a number on the scale. I bet you feel better now than you did before you started to lose the weight. Take care. Hang in there.
