Good Sunday Afternoon everyone ~

I got off to a slow start with this challenge but ya know, I feel good now. My husband is going to be 'dieting' (I hate that word) with me starting tomorrow so I think it's going to be so much easier for me/us.

JenJen ~ Woo Hoo!! What will power you have Congratulations on that BIG loss!! You're off to a GREAT start! Listen, I may have asked you this already but I can't seem to remember ....where in Texas as you? I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

mj ~ you know, sometimes we just need to sit and ponder, take a step back and think.....I do that alot, especially lately. (age does that ) So just take that time and decide what you want for your long term life and your short term life.....we all need to reevaluate at times. Keep your focus.

Es ~ how you's doin'??

Hi ladies. Hope you endured I Monday....I barely did.

Foodwise, today was not a good day. We went out for lunch & I ate way too much. I will eat sensibly this evening and do better tomorrow.

I went shopping yesterday and walked the mall at least 3 times trying to find clothes. I also got my gym membership today. I will have to do all of that stuff next week.

Zoe, I live in Austin. I am a native Texan and went to school at TWU in Denton. We spent quite a bit of time in Dallas & Fort Worth.

Mota, How are you doing? I hope you are feeling better. Please feel free to vent as much as you need to here.

I will be gone for a few days. I leave on Weds. and will be back on Sunday. So, if you don't see me around for a while, don't worry.

Hope y'all have a great week. I'll try to post my weight loss before I leave.

Hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to pop in before I finish packing.

I lost 5 pounds. Probably could have been more, if I ate better the past couple of days, but that's okay.

Todays been a good day. I got my butt into some pants I havent been able to get into in a few months, so of course that made me feel pretty good. I've been watching what I eat and I've finally got myself to exercise more.

Hey everyone......I have now made it through 3 FULL days (well, almost, once I go to sleep) of being SO on track. I'm excited. I hope y'all are doing well too. I have even managed to stay away from weighing myself. I haven't mentioned that here but my friends on 3FC know how obsessed I've always been with the scale. I would get on it 4 or 5 times BEFORE getting dressed in the morning......like it was going to change 1/4 pound. So I haven't even looked at the scale and I am proud of that. :sheep:

JenJen ~ Wow....great job!! 5 pounds gone! Yippee!! You're on a roll....keep up the good work.

mj ~ doesn't it feel wonderful when you get into clothes that didn't fit? I am really looking forward to that. Good job!

Where are ya Es?? Hope you're doing good too.

Hello!! How's everyones day going so far? Mines been great...I managed to stay away from all junk food today up until about 5 minutes ago. I'm a sucker for peach rings. I love those things. There's no fat grams but there are quiet a few calories. But I only had 3 so I'm still pretty proud of myself. I dont want to deny myself any cravings that I get. I tried the 10 minute rule on them but it didnt work. Other than that I've done good.

I'm glad you've managed to stay on track for 3 days Zoe. Keep up the good work. About that whole scale thing...I was like that for a while..really depressed me. I'd step on it after everything I'd do. Eat, exercise, shower, whatever. Finally I just put it away. The whole out of sight, out of mind really works for me. I take it out only when I feel a difference.

Anywho ladies keep up the good work. Take care!

I'm in I hope!! I just need the motivation to keep me going. I'm just beginning so my goal is to just stick to it til Labor Day!! Just to get mooovin and eat better!! I hope to lose, we'll say 15 pounds.

Hello and Good Evening y'all ~

Ok, another day under my belt, day #5 today and still not hopping on the scale. Oh Lord, thank you and I can't wait until Monday morning to see how I've done. Greg is home from his business trip and got home before me today. He said that he got on the scale. Ugh! How could he!! So this afternoon, around 4pm, he had lost 12.5 pounds!! Now, remember, first week, male and bigger than me......oh how I will be so thankful for half that.

Hello!! How's everyone!?! ( I must say I love this place!! You all are so nice!! ) I've spent all day by the pool with kids and hubby!! Feeling so hot!! Got a little burned!! And have no energy.

I haven't made any effort with eating better today. It's just been one of those days!

I'll have to do better tomorrow!

Well, yesterday was weigh day............can I say I was dissappoiunted? Well, when I tell you I lost 5 pounds, you'll say WHY ARE YOU DISAPPOINTED????????????? I suppose I should be happy. It's just that I'm so used to losing 7 or 8 pounds my first week OP and I was really SO on track, SO good this week. So this morning, I had lost 5 pounds and tonight when I got home (and jumped on the scale AGAIN), I lost 6....so 5 or 6....hey, I know, I should be ashamed of myself for not accepting that with a smile on my face. Ok..... I'm sorry....Opps....woo hoo, 5 pounds!!! Closer to my first mini goal or 10 pounds by July 4th.

I'm running late for work. I will post tonight. I hope y'all are doing great.....

Hi gang. Sorry I've been AWOL so long. I've been exhausted since I got back.

I didn't weigh this week. Food has been awful since my trip. I did go to the gym today & did all my measurements & got a tour. I plan on starting my workout tomorrow. I may actually pay to get a trainer. I want to mainly start with cardio & work into doing weights, but I think once I start the weights I want someone around for a while.

Zoe, Congrats on the loss! That's awesome, but I do understand the disappointment. I was sort of that way my first week too. But remember, you don't want to lose too fast because that means you are losing muscle!

Mota, Sounds like you are doing great. Congrats on fitting into those pants & staying away from the junk food.

ES & SuperMom, How are y'all doing?

Well, I must say, I am feeling really motivated right now. The gym will be a good thing for me. Plus, doing that will help me refocus on my food too. I plan on going to the store tomorrow & stocking up on the healthy stuff (AGAIN) and get back into it.
