Hi Ladies,

Well I went to weigh in today.... lost 5 pounds.. lost the ones I gained and a 1 more. So I'm now at 22 pounds. I thought I would never start lossing again. (Tina, it has been 5 weeks since starting on the new meds.) The lady told me not to worry if I don't lose on Wed.

I have to go back to school for a high school registration for the 8th graders. It starts at 7 but I would rather be at home. I'm just making my appearance.

It's cold here too. It is 37 degrees. Like Tina said, one day it is close to 80 (yesterday) to today where it is cold. It's a damp cold so it feels colder.

Hope you have a great evening.

Susan

The schools around here were closed today because of ice and snow. It was pretty nasty most of the day. It's not bad now, but there is more freezing rain headed this way. Should hit about midnight. I figure we will be on a 2-hour delay in the morning, but I might be wrong.

Spent the day working on science experiments for Boy Scouts. Am I a dedicated mom or what? I would have preferred sitting in the recliner reading a book, but I just love that kid! At least we got some completed and others started. Since he already had homework done, that seemed like the smart thing to do.

We are out of school from this Thursday until Monday, April 1. We go back on Tuesday. That's our spring break. It would be interesting if we didn't have school tomorrow, then have it on Wed., then start our break. Weird!

Just in case we have school at normal time, I think I need to get some sleep. Have a great week everyone!

Hey I think we lucked out on not getting that snow!! It did snow.. kind of during the afternoon... you could see it, but just barely. So far it's like 11:15pm here and no snow on the ground maybe we wont get any to speak of after all. Will wait til morning to know for sure though.
I don't envy those of you that did get snow.. or still have it.. brrr. I think its time for spring thaw! Unless you live in the north pole!!

Got the child signed up for summer camp today. That took over 1 1/2 hours just to sign her up.. the girl (2 of em) had no clue what they were doing... had to keep looking up the instructions in a manuel, then she messed up and had to start over. Since it took so long in town, we were gonna go get Chinese Takeout.. mmm love fried rice... and they are closed on Mon's..boohoo. Gee I had a fun filled afternoon.

CONGRATS Susan on your loss!! You did great this past week!!

Good luck Kady on Wed.. hope the scales are nice to you

I should sleep now... have a good day tomorrow all.

Angry

Boy did I have a near tragedy when I went to aquacise last night. Last week I had switched to my older and smaller swimsuit cause my newer bigger one was getting a tiny bit loose and to be honest just cause I could now fit the smaller one. The bigger one was still fine. Well after a week of aquacise I noticed the seem on the swimsuit bra had given away. So I packed my older suit and away I went.

Dumb move Kady, cause when I put it on at the pool I had a huge problem. It was wayyyyyyyy too big now and wasnt going to hold me in. I stepped out of the change room trying to decide what to do. Well I got another lady to tie the straps so I wouldnt "fall" out LOL

Today I got the smaller suit fixed and last night I ordered another suit.

Shrinking problems. Kady

I had a good chuckle about the swimsuit problem! It was so easy to imagine!!!! LOL

Today was our 3rd day out of school this week. Lots of ICE with snow too. Power has been out off and on. Some people still don't have it a few miles from us. We've been lucky. Our power has flickered a lot, but the longest it has been off is about a minute.

Our trees look pretty bad. We've lost lots of limbs, some pretty big ones. Our neighbors are in Florida right now. When they come home, they aren't going to be happy to see that 1/2 of one of the trees in their front yard is gone. Hubby and son were working over there today to get it cleaned up.

Can you believe that it is Thursday tomorrow already? I think someone is putting Thursdays closer together than they used to be!! Not fair!

Toodles!

Hi Gals,

It has been one busy week. If I make it through tomorrow, I'll be off on Friday. Not sure what I will do.

Kady, what a great problem to have.... a failing off swimsuit. However, that could be a major problem too! Way to go!

Tammy, did you get the day off? Enjoy your break and get some rest.... We are on the down hill side of the year!

Tina, do you feel a difference yet on your new meds? How is the weather down your way? It's beautiful here now.... but suppose to rain on Sat. Hopefully it will be nice Friday so I can work out in the yard.

Dee, poor you registering your child. Sounds like it was just too much fun! I love Chinese, especially fried rice. Hope it was yummy!!

Have a great day!

Smile The Swimsuit Didn't Lie

Well the swimsuit didnt lie. I did lose this week; 3 lbs to be exact which brings me to 30.8 lbs in the 12 weeks I've been in ww. I am so thrilled. I now weigh less than I did at anytime in the last 9 years and its going lower. I would like to lose another 30 before July which is another 12 weeks away. It could happen Especially since walking will be more accessible since the weather will have improved and gardening will have begun.

Im getting company for the Easter weekend. Got to go and clean house.

Have a good Easter all.

Kady
