Hey everybody! Pouring down rain here, went out at lunch though and here it is: roasted white chicken breast, purple hull peas and cabbage (my usual).
Temp is supposed to drop this afternoon after the rain moves out.

Tonight will be Progresso Carb Monitor Chicken Cheese Enchilada Soup. I haven't had it before so I'll let y'all know how it tastes.

Have a safe afternoon if y'all are out and about.

The soup was very good, I saved the other cup for tomorrow. I didn't actually "see" any chicken in it, but it does say "shredded". Well it's shredded mighty fine is all I can say. But it is good.

It did turn cold after the rain stopped.

I am SO tired I want to just lay down and sleep. I ache all over, and I am not exactly sure why, except I have been going all day long. Dinner tonight was nice, and one of the two single guys who came over for dinner bought a vase from me to give to a girl he is taking out on Valentine's Day. Yay!

The weather was pretty nice. We went to a Vietnamese Noodle soup place for lunch. I got a small bowl, and ate the meat, veggies and some of the noodles and broth, but could not finish it!

I still have stuff to do....like make Tom's lunch and a smoothie for his breakfast, so I better get to it so I can go to bed!

Night!

Roesmary- I hope you enjoy your treadmill as much as I am enjoying mine. I simply love it. It is one of the best investments I have made.

Happy Hump Day!

It rained all evening and now we have ice all over the snow. What a mess. I took it slow and easy and had no problems. I am so ready for Spring.
We did not go to the gym last night. With all this mess and I was exhausted. So we vegged out in front of the TV all night. I have been so tired lately and can't figure out why. Must be the RA, who knows.

arawagrl, You can chat all you want. Lately, we have been very chatty. Jump on in and ask any questions you may have.

Bob, hope you are not coming down with something bad. Yes we got snow and ice and then it rained last night and it all turned to ice. Move over.

Rosemary, you should have taken another day off. Hope your DD is better soon. Enjoy your

Stilltrying, you are doing great. Sounds like you are really motivated.

Chris, congrats on your loss. Hope your MRI turns out ok. Keep us posted.

Mercee, I don't know how you stand the temps and snow in Chicago. I guess you are used to it and they probably take better care in cleaning the roads there.

Beth, at least being busy makes the day go quicker. Hope you are feeling better soon too.

Sparkle, Bring on Spring, at least when it rains it will be warmer.

Monet, that's pretty good, invite them to dinner and sell a piece. Good going.

Guess I had better get busy. Have a great day!

Good Morning~

Another snow day for me....I will be teaching until July 4th at this rate!!! I went to OA on Monday night and I really liked it. I know that with OA and Sugar Busters I will be successful!! Friday is my official start date...I need to go food shopping and fill my house with legal food. Tonight I am going to re-read my SB's book and get myself organized. Talk to you all later.

Oh my gosh we've been iced in all week. Steve has yet to get back to work cause WE CAN'T GET OUT OF HERE! Theres a thick layer of ice covering everything. He can't even get our truck door open or the hood to our scout to charge the battery. Its really a mess. We've lost power twice. I swear where did this stuff come from. And its calling for more snow Thursday night and Friday. Steve got out in the yard yesterday and tried working on our stuff and fell. So today he will try again. My eating has been horrible. I'll be back later....

Hey Ladies,

I have crappy weather here too. Snowed all night, now rain makes for a very slipery wet mess.
I taught my sports class and then took the adult class. That class is very different, I will miss it when I teach the second class in 2 week. After taking 2 days off to be a slug, stuff hurts today. That will teach me.

Surprisingly my eating has been awesome since Friday. gaining yet 3 pounds from 3 weeks will make one rethink eating. (tomorrow is my planned cheat day..YAY VDAY) Everything I ate was counted and measured via WW, and my overall fruit, veg, carb, free, and dairy has been really accurate. I hope this helps--Im not going to expect miracles, but eventually something must give. Even my bakery sf treats and cookies are countable. They are cheap pt wise as well. 2 cookies =1pt. It actually made me feel good to know this because all the times i though I "overate" the cookies I wasn't really doing BAD. I guess its all in stride. Over eating anything is never really grand..but hey it could always be worse.

The plan is read and relax until the next class.. I hope everyones days is going well. To all my snowed in friends..Boy can I relate.

Still-Nice job on the weight loss..Go you!!

Toni-Like I said I can relate. Good luck as having no power can suck. I hope Steve is alright..The ice is a killer.

Kate-The first shopping is always interesting. Have fun and read everything. I was so surprised to find "good" foods with sugar added..or enriched flour. it was crazy. Where bouts in Nh are you? ha gotta love this weather.

Solly-I hear ya Bring on SPRING..I had a veg nite myself. Luckily I work out in the am..Id never make it if I had to go out at night. Horray for the tv. LOL

Monet_I hope your feeling better. being tired and achy isn't fun. Im glad someone has nice weather!!

Rosi-Enjoy your treadmill...YAY!!!

Mercee-We posted at the same time...So good morning!! Enjoy your day!! Don't work too hard!!

Rosemary - I hope your daughter is better soon and you get some rest.
Also glad you got your treadmill.

Still trying - Way to go on the 1.6 pounds. Keep it up!

Chris - Your doing great, good for you! Good luck on the MRI results.

Mercee - Glad your getting good use out of your treadmill.

Beth - Hope your household is well soon and the boss gets back and
takes some pressure off.

Sparkle - Laughed at your "couldn't see the chicken" I guess they can put
a fraction of an ounce in there and still call it and ingredient.

Monet - I hope your not coming down with the flu that's been going around.
I read they messed up and the flu shot is not as effective as most years.
Something about they guessed the wrong strain of flu for the shot. Hope
you feel better soon.

Gym Rat - Glad your not letting being indoors with bad weather mess up
your eating plan. Way to go!

I'm doing pretty good. We are having decent weather so I can't complain. My
sister in VA. has not had power for a couple of days and it may be Thursday
before it comes back on. I once spent a week without power in the middle of
a hot summer and it was miserable. My food has been decent but not perfect.
I do best eating at home, eating out is such a temptation. I hope all are having a good week. SMW

Hey everybody, the weather here is just beautiful. It was cold this morning, but when I went out at lunch the sun had warmed it up so nice. My daughter sent me flowers today, carnations, they are my favorite. That was a nice surprise.

Have a nice afternoon everyone.

Well today is nice and sunny and mid sixties here in San Antonio...but the weekend is going to turn rainy and 30s/40s with wind. YUCK! I will make some home made soup for sure...

I'm eating a late lunch. Minestrone soup with sprinked shreeded cheddar cheese on top of it.

DD is doing much better today. and boy did a full night's sleep last night make a difference for me.
