Talking What time is it?

Ok, Amberelise -

This morning I got out of bed at 4:45 to workout! My husband even felt guilty for staying in bed, so he got up too! I walked on the treadmill and did a few reps on the butterfly machine. And yes, my back muscles aren't happy with me for scrubbing the floors the other day...

It's a good feeling!

EDIT: they gave me the night off so I only worked the lunch shift -- I'm heading to the gym!

TODAY (2): elliptical and strength training :-)

It's amazing how much we depend on food -- my boyfriend's dog (from childhood, he had it for about 11 years) just died, and the first thing I said was "Do you want me to make you something special for dinner?"

Interesting...

Haha, well, that's a good motivator to get you to work out at the gym. We all feel that way, don't worry.

15 minutes lifting weights followed by 20 minutes of swimming. That completes day 4 of 30.

where do you waitress that they give you 12 hour shifts? or was that an exaduration? i waitress and they only work me like 3 hours at a time...the longest i worked -ever- was one sunday when i was supposed to be a split shift, but i ended up only having 15 mintues between shifts because i got cut really late and my tables camped FOREVER...i thnk i was on my feet for ~10 hours. that night i had knee pain like no other, but it would be nice to be able to get more than a 2 hour shift in at a time...

It's a really busy restaurant, especially at lunchtime. Sometimes when I work a double there's a break in between, but sometimes you have to go straight through.
Sometimes it's no fun, but I like it and the pay is good! Also, when you think about it, it really is great exercise. I mean, I walk basically non-stop the whole time, and I'm carrying heavy trays of drinks and plates of food!

I'm debating which exercise to do. Do I want Hatha yoga or stairclimber?

Yes! Ballet class. Good job, arts!

I did 30 minutes straight on the stair climber. It was TOUGH. I would have done yoga, but it was happening the same time as biggest loser . . .

Day 5 of 30 complete.

I love watching Biggest Loser while I work out!! I also love yoga just because the feeling of stretching is soooooooo wonderful. Sometimes when I'm bored at home I just stretch because it feels so good....and I stretch every morning in the shower while my conditioner sets!

Amberelise -- 30 MINUTES on the stairclimber??? whoa whoa WHOA!! that's impressive!! congrats!!

Today was actually my first day back at ballet after a spine injury a few months ago...it was really frustrating because I knew how to do everything I just couldn't make my body do it!! But I WILL go back next week. I really did miss dancing :-)

If it's more than what you would have done before then it is completely worth it and it counts!

I barely made the exercise in tonight! I've been working on my Halloween costume all night, but popped in my ESPN Bodyshapping Abs video once I cleaned up the arts & crafts mess. *whew*

fitday.com calculates how many that burns. Personally. . . I think you should try and hit that gym tonight!
