eeek!!! sorry!! But thanks for keeping me accountable!! :-)

I didn't work out yesterday. The spine injury is causing a lot of pain and the fact that I'm under a lot of stress isn't helping. I don't think I can keep the commitment to 30 days consecutive just because it IS so unpredictable...BUT that is NOT an excuse! I really am working out as much as I can and I'm finding that eating well isn't as difficult as I was expecting. I've had one slip-up where I ate half a small cannoli at work, but hey, I'd been waitressing for 5 hours and forgot to eat before I got there -- I was STARVING!! I actually think that that kept me from eating more when I got home!!

All in all, I'm feeling MUCH better, and I feel like this time I might really be on the track to losing this weight. I'll continue checking in, but I don't think I can keep numbering my days because there are some days when it's just too much pain to go work out.

But this thread is really helping me on days when I don't WANT to (as opposed to when I can't) -- I just think, "EEK!! I have to check in later and the gym closes in an hour!!"

So I WILL keeping checking in!!

amber -- where's YOUR check in???

I'm working a double today.....so I'm basically working straight from 10 am - 1 am. Right now I'm on about a 45 minute break in between...but I thought I'd update!

*sigh*

I know. So bad. I went to bed at 9:30 last night and told myself I would get up early this morning, but I didn't do that either. I'm having a hard time battling the sleepies lately. It's a side effect to my meds for my blood clot in my brain. (Blood thinner PLUS this headache pain stuff.)

Arrrgh, frustrating! Day 1 starts again today. I swear, some day I really WILL do 30 days straight.

amberelise -- now it looks like we have more in common, we're both battling annoying health-related obstacles that ar eworking against us wit hthe whole working out thing.

I say don't beat yourself up about something that's out of your control. Sure, the weight loss thing is for looks and whatever, but it's also for health, and keeping health in mind is the most important thing. Your medication is keeping you healthy, and if it means that you can't work out for 30 days straight, then so be it. It's a sacrifice you'll have to make, I guess. Just like I have to make sure not to go too hard so that my spine injury doesn't flare up.

Keep working, though, and don't be too hard on yourself!
