Hey all. Red, I feel your pain. I took a pause on the workout challenge. Honestly, I didn't move my butt from the couch except to walk the dogs and get I read, slept, and watched HGTV. Not good.

I am going to try everything in my power to stick out the rest of my challenge. Also, I am starting a food challenge tomorrow - following my menu for breakfast. Here goes.

Wondersha, welcome, and DJ, keep up the great work. Well, I am tired from my naps, so am off to bed

Day 7 - Put fork/spoon down between each bite 90% of the time - pause - 1 pauses left
Day 12 - Half of my dinner plate is filled with vegies which I will eat first - (this is dinner only) - good - 2 pauses left
Day 11 - Exercise 30 minutes everyday - good - 3 pauses left

Had to take a pause on the utensil challenge. I was more than halfway through dinner last night before I remembered! I have no clue how I did before I caught myself, so, a pause. That's ok though, I'm getting a little better I think.

Red - Good job getting right back on those challenges! We all have bad days, what matters is the trend in the right direction, which you do have going!

Jolly - Maybe you needed a break huh? I know I do once in a while! Good luck with your new challenge.

Wondersha - Glad to have you join us! Good luck with your challenges.

Helloooooo everyone. OK. So this was a bad day. Didn't exercise. Didn't follow menu. The ONLY good thing I have to say is that I did not stop for food porn on the way home. YIKES.

So tomorrow, I will start the exercise challenge and the follow menu challenge over. But, I am on day 10 of my posting with 3 pauses left.

I am just so sick of myself right now. As the song goes "My give a damn's busted!"

Well, I knew taking 2 pauses in a row would spell my doom. I had to restart. I have finished day 2 of my exercise ( 1/2 of at least walking, more strenuous activity may be substituted) My bro is coming over for dinner so no beer will start another day....
Everyone who recently took a pause, it's OK. Thats what they are there for. At least you didn't have to start over.
Still no meds for me. I'm really suprised the Doctor hasn't called about it. I don't want to be annoying so I haven't called myself. If I don't hear by noon tomorrow I'm calling. I need to move forward with this, otherwise it's just ANOTHER stress...
Happy Monday everyone!

Hey all. Well, I give myself a bronze star for the day. I met my challenges. Did give in to some , but still met my challenge.

Daily posting, day 11 - 3 pauses left
Follow workout plan, day 1 - 3 pauses left
Follow menu, day 1 - 3 pauses left

I also need a pat on the back. I was really craving something not healthy and not on the menu for lunch. I needed to go run some errands for work, and was already figuring out how I could fit swinging by and picking it up while I was out. Instead, I ate the healthy lunch I packed BEFORE I did my errands. I small step.

Have a great one everyone

Good morning all. I am feeling pretty right now. I just lost my first post, so here is a shortened vent for the morning (lucky you : ) I woke up and was going to do my run with MUCH ENTHUSIASM. Run was going pretty good, when my hip went out at the halfway point. I finished my route at a fast walk, which kept my pace pretty much the same (how sad is that), but still Ah well.

Everyone, have a wonderful day

Day 9 - Put fork/spoon down between each bite 90% of the time - pause - 0 pauses left
Day 14 - Half of my dinner plate is filled with vegies which I will eat first - (this is dinner only) - good - 2 pauses left
Day 13 - Exercise 30 minutes everyday - good - 3 pauses left

Well, had to use my last pause on the utensil challenge. I did fine for breakfast and lunch, but forgot while eating dinner until I was at least halfway through! Oh well, I figured I might be restarting this challenge and it looks like I'll be right.

Jolly - Congrats on avoiding that unhealthy stuff! You did good. Sorry about your hip! It's so frustrating when you're doing so well to end up injured. Hope you feel better soon.

Wondersha - You avoided the candy! Great job! That's so hard when you're surrounded by stuff like that. Good job with those challenges.

Hi Red & Apple! Hope all is well.

Hello all. Wondersha - Kudos back at you for passing on the candy. I know how hard that is. I was greeted with doughnuts at work, and that was hard to pass. DJ, sorry you have to restart the fork challenge, but keep up the good work on everything else.

All three challenges were a go today. Hurray. Here's to another day.

Have a wonderful night all

Hi all. Just had to come on here real quick. I had almost talked myself into "waiting" and working out tonight. Like that happens. Instead, I dragged myself to the gym, increased the intensity on the bike, and did not 1, but TWO sets of weights!

i still hate weights Red!

Have a great day all.
