Freethetoys - I used to think like that but once you're actually in the water nobody can see your body anyway. And... if you go during fitness swimming sessions (sometimes called lane swimming) most people don't take any notice of whats going on around them because they're too busy swimming.

lou that sounds like you're doing the first 4.5 months and Jen is doing the 2nd half!

Sounds fun! Sounds like an exciting and packed year for you two! What a lot of motivation you've got!

Scales up a bit for me, but I think it's leg day water retention!

Eek! After a bad few months I am starting (yet) again.

However for some reason it has suddenly sunk in that even if I "only" lose 1 lb per week I will still be nearly 4 stone lighter by the end of the year!

Start weight this morning: 14st 6 1/4 lbs
Will be aiming for around 1250 calories per day plus a little more at weekends.
Got a dance mat for Christmas - exercise I actually enjoy!

Good luck to everybody!!

Morning everyone. Haven't been on for a few days, been busy running about and enjoying time with Mum

The plan. Well as of today I weigh 226.5 which is where I was a few weeks ago after my yo-yo Christmas challenge.

I want to lose 14 pounds by Easter, I reckon I can lose more, but don't want to stress myself out by setting a higher goal.

Plan is: follow WW point system,
go to curves five to six times a week
every day, building up time each day to walk, am at 15- 20 minutes at the moment and enjoying it and sweating profusely
eat more veggies, I eat loads anyway, but figure more can't hurt.
Come and chat on here each day, for tips and motivation and getting through this journey, knowing all you lovely lot are in the same boat and paddling along with me

Roll on Easter and fat loss

Freethetoys blimey hope your feeling better you poor thing.

Hello everyone

Today I am nine stone 9lbs a loss of 2lbs since Tuesday. I havent been to the gym yet things are still a bit hectic. But because I am now back at work and doing my usual walk there back etc I think its shifting things.

I think it was Sarah who said it was nice to feel in control again and it does.
I completely blanked the quality street that my family were scoffing last night.

I am going to try and lose this last 10lbs by the end of the challenge.

Michele

Freethetoys - Snuggle down in bed and get better before trying to diet seriously.

My food is going well but I'm not able to do the additional exercise I'd planned - still managing my doggy walks though.

I've had a cracking headache for the last day or two - I think its probably a symptom of cheese withdrawal (or maybe the lack of caffeine)

Michele - YOU CAN DO IT - I have EVERY faith in you.

I want to loose 2 stone (28lb)

- 1400 calories per day, only drinking water or flavoured water (may get some low calorie lemonade ) The majority of my main meals are recipes taken from ediets.
- 50 minutes exercise per day (initially on my exercise bike but I am ordering some exercise dvds today)
- 1 'treat' at the end of every week

I started yesterday and so far so good hopefully I will meet my target and stick to the healthy eating.

Hello All,

Finally got my brain around job - just over a year and I only gained about 8lbs!

Doesn't sound too bad - but I am a SPORT lecturer! Still that is TALKING about it not DOING it

So Easter Challenge it is for me! A stone as minimum target I think!

My plan? Eat less : Move more

its 12 o clock and i have just woken up...... already breaking my pact with my self that am gonna get up early and do some walkin/swimming today. But last nite was really quite hectic as i have just moved back to leeds ........ been packing and running rounds the shops in b'ham all fri and quite a lot of sat..... so was prety xhausted really!!! But probably have not lost anything from it as i have probably eaten back enough to compensate for it ...... pizza on fri nite and brownies yesterday afternoon.....
dunno wot came over me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wud have never touched the brownies under normal circumstances, but sorta feel more sad leaving home this time than i did last time, so my instantaneous reactionis to eat some thing nice, i eat wen i am sad , wen i have lots of work to do and am stressed.................
Either way hope i have at least not gained anything.............. as i have decided am not weigh myself every day ........ only twice a week
So next weigh in being tomorrow morning!!!!!!!

well done on the loss frus
hope u are better soon free the toys
