57.8 kg/127.2 lbs today. This is all new territory! Looks like I may very well make my goal of under 57.0 kg by dec. 1

Krampus, 57.7 was my lowest weight EVER... sniff (we're the same height).... I hope to get back there one day.

Silverbirch, congratulations!

I'm back up 200 grams (less than 1/2 lb). It's fine, I'm losing slooooowly and these things happen. I decided to go back up to 1700-1800 cals/day. I had a bad case of binge-eating after I lost my initial weight, so I'm really afraid of lowering my calories too much and binging. At 1800 I lose slowly. Better than gaining fast, right?

Hey Dudettes,
brief update: scale now bouncing in the 127s +/- .5-1 pound down from the 129-131 bounce.
I also feel a physical slimprovement in my being. Calorie counting is going well in terms of actually following thru w/all food and unplanned food missteps. I am loving my new phone counter called fatsecret.com-- works for android systems! It will sync w/desktop version automatically.

So...now it is Onward and Downward

and again... GOOOOOO TEEEAAAAAMMMMM!!!

The discipline you've all demonstrated seems to be finally soaking in. I feel back in the food groove, and the scale is even responding appropriately. Now I need to create an exercise groove. It doesn't have to be a deep groove ... :P

ncuneo wrote a very convining post in the support group about going for the last 5 pounds, and what a huge difference it can make. I think I read that post 10 times. Color me inspired!

Last week I was really feeling how out of shape from vacation I was at the gym, but this week I'm feeling a lot stronger and increased weight on a lot of lifts to somewhere around pre-vaca levels, though not personal bests. The scale is bobbling around my pre-vaca weight too but I'm not calling it official yet. My legs are a good sore. Must keep up this trend until Thanksgiving!

Silver and Krampus, great work!!!

I'm sorry....is this thread about losing weight? I see there are several people slimming and feeling better in their clothes and pushing on for various athletic pursuits.

Hmmmm.....Perhaps I should try some of ya'll's strategies....Weight loss....what a concept.

Sigh.

Weight continues to rise (125.8), jeans I bought a week ago (size 0) are on me currently but will not be worn again unless weight drops...uncomfortable! Own the same jean sin size 2, will get the waist of those taken in a tad and should be happy

Ive been eating about 1400-1600, and just dont seem to desire to eat lower with the 2x a day intense workouts. So Im trying not to let the emotional side of seeing the scale rise every single day for a week freak me out. I mean 126/127 is a very, very reasonable weight to maintain and a size 2 is just fine. If the weight keeps rising past that point I will try to lower the cals down 1400 max, but otherwise I have just felt like I wanted to eat dangit!

Workouts are super mega ultra awesometastic this week! I have been skimping some of the cardio, but adding interval/circuits to them (this weeks circuit is 10 plank walk ups, 10 up/downs, 10 plank side raises, 10 step ups, 20 lunches, 100 bicycles done quick with 1 min rest inbetween, 3 total sets of the circuit). Feels like the skin is responding more too, tightening. Yay!

krampus I am so excited for you

midwife you crack me up, hehe.

I want to know, what are you eating for those 20 lunches?

Up 2.6 pounds from last Friday. I knew this would happen because I got out of bed somewhat hunched over, as my quads felt stiff & thick as an umpire's padding. All I wanted was lots of hot coffee. But I did have blueberries & a little cup of plain yogurt & thick-cut oats with almond milk & peanut butter mixed through. Then sat up, thinking, "Damn -- I forgot to weigh in." So I headed off to the scale. Excuses, excuses. I ate well, so some of this may be real weight, but some of it is due to those thick-cut oats & my DOM. Anyway, I'm not worried about it or self-reproachful. And I am dropping off an armload of too-big jeans at the nearby hospital's charity shop within the next few minutes. (If they're taking donations. Half the time it seems like they're NOT taking donations.)

ETA: Krampus, your new avatar is absolutely adorable. Geeky-sexy-&-childish-in-a-good-way. I want to hug you & take you to sit on Santa's lap. Only Santa might be a dirty old man & then you'd be in trouble. What brand is your plaid hoodie, if I may ask? It's a great look.

Still in the bottomless pit of paperwork - went home yesterday almost certain that my eyeballs were bleeding from nonstop computer time. Indeed, I only plan to drop a line to say hello, and then I'm going outside to enjoy this absolutely unnatural, fantastic weather.

May you all have a terrific, on-plan weekend!

The on two or three weeks, off one plan is working so far. 135.2 today. I haven't been that low since 2007, pre-thyroid problems. On the one hand I'm happy about it, on the other hand it means that I spent 3 of my 5 years of maintenance more than 5lbs above my original goal weight. Hmm.

Goal at the moment is to get to the point where my Monday morning weight is 136 before the holidays so I have wiggle room to gain a little.
