That blood work you had done.... was it a fasting glucose or had you eaten fairly close to when the blood was drawn?? Had you had any hard exercise about 3 hours before the blood was drawn?? Where were you in the process of starting this diet when that blood was drawn??
I STILL BELIEVE YOU NEED TO TALK TO YOUR DR! BUT, The answers to those questions are important.
When we eat we get a spike in blood glucose so, if you ate at the right interval before the test it could affect the result. Thus, the reason for a fast glucose for accuracy.
When we have intense exercise, their is a drop in glucose followed by a correlate increase in glucose that can account for a higher but allowable number.
Depending on where you were in the diet start process, if your body had just dumped all of it's glucose, and was kicking off the glycogen stores to glucose process you may have had more glucose than expected.
If it were me, I would talk to the DR and see if he/she was agreeable to re doing my glucose test and checking my blood ph again. It couldn't hurt, Much!

YES, I WAS FASTING FROM 11 PM TO WHEN THE BLOOD WAS DRAWN WHICH WAS AROUND 8:30 AM. NO EXCERCISE NO FOOD PRIOR. I WAS IN THE 4TH WEEK OF THE DIET. I have to point out again that the number was something around 94 or so. He has been my GP for over 10 years now and the appointment is for tomorrow at 2:30 so we'll see.

Sorry!
Just concerned... I will try not to be so much so, or so intense.
You had to be under 60%. I was 59% today so wooohooo
I also started walking 2.5 miles and I feel great. I am so excited for my next weigh in. I can't believe I have had NO fast food, candy, or pop in two weeks. :

I'm amazed at the results I have gotten, but the last couple weeks haven't seen a big weight lost, so I'm alittle down even though I lost inches in all the right places
