So, I'm gonna have a talk with my counselors to see what my options are for Fridays. I'm hoping they're ok with my plan to do Cheese for Breakfast & Meta-Quick for lunch & dinner. It's only for 6 Fridays, so I don't think it should be a problem.
how about non fat Greek yogurt or cottage cheese? you could even mix the yogurt in with your HNS and fruit and make a smoothie. i do that alot on the go and also alot of times i can't stomach fish, chicken or beef or even eggs. or Mediquick day would be good too...i love the Wonderslim Strawberry yogurt protein meal replacement! you have some great counselors so i know they will give you some great advice :-)

I'm back on track. Lost another pound to get out of the stall I was in. Getting my (extra) water, sticking perfectly to plan, cutting out my bars for a few days (now I'm afraid to add them back in-probably won't until I'm exercising hard again, i'm still on the verge of feeling like crap), and maybe even the lower amount of exercise I'm doing (maybe even with metabalance I was trying to do a bit too much).

Jen-if they do allow greek yogurt, especially for Fridays, I love mixing a concentrate HNS with nonfat greek yogurt...very filling with all that protein.

Gina - Glad that you are back on track. Only 5 more pounds to go. That is GREAT!

Seems like there are a lot on this board that have been feeling crappy lately. It seems that illness not only spreads through work or town but also message boards. Strange.

Thanks--I tried that this morning for breakfast with mixed berry. It was a little sweet, but sure is better than that yogurt plain! I've also mixed it with blueberries and truvia and that was good.

I'm feeling a bit better today. My right ear briefly "popped" and went back to closed so I'm hoping the antibiotics are starting to do their thing and this will clear up soon. I've been about 16 hours without nose spray and am trying to hold off till bedtime so I'll be able to sleep through the night. Goal is to not need it in a day or two. Don't want to get addicted to it. That's no fun either.

I have a confession to make, when I said I'm weird with food...well, I really am. LOL Truth be told, I've never tried yogurt in my life. When I was little I never got past the idea of "live things" in there. Yup, I'm weird. The plainer things are the better. I don't eat eggs, yogurt, fish, tomatoes, onions (unless well cooked into something), garlic (I'm an Italian that doesn't like garlic). I think I have defective taste buds. Talk about a challenge being on this program. But, I think I've done pretty good to this point.

ynapier and Gina, Congrats on your losses. I'm so happy for you both!!!!

camaswa - Chocolate is more devilish than carbs! But they sounds good.

Talking Newbie here!

Hello all! Mrc and 3fc newbie here. I joined on 2-13 and am on day 5 of the yellow plan. I love all the tips and encouragement on this board! Before reading I thought I would die of cottage cheese and salad exhaustion! But I know this too will pass, and I will be able to try some of your recipes soon! I have already lost 10 pounds and according to MRC I have 40 to go. I say more along the lines of 60. (20 from law school, 20 from 1st kiddo and 20 from 2nd kiddo!) but i can actually see it happening now. Happy to be here!

Welcome aboard MrsKatydid!!

So just got back from the doc and I have a sprained knee. Timing sucks because I was just good enough to start Zumba again without throwing up a lung and now I'm out of commission! UGH

Welcome, Kate! Congrats on losing 10! That's awesome! I'm proof that you can lose the baby weight and then some. Just hang in there and visit this board often. You will find that it will help your success.

I'm so sorry about your knee. That's a BAD feeling. Take it easy and hopefully it will heal quickly.

Welcome, Katie.

Welcome to Thursday! Start making plans already for what you're going to eat on the weekend so you don't make choices you'll regret on Monday. We can do this thing!!!

Good catch! I totally missed that. Yellow menu is Days 1-4 and Blue is 5-10.

Good Morning!
This is totally off-topic, but if anyone has the opportunity to see Michael Jackson's Immortal Tour by Cirque du Soleil - it's worth it.

I saw it last night & thoroughly enjoyed the show. 2.5 hours of non-stop dancing, aerial performances & MJ music - a definite treat for any fan of MJ's music.

- <----- me dancing in my seat - wonder how many calories I burned?!

I broke past 145!!!!! I just weighed in...144.5!!!!! That's 3 pounds since Monday! And here I thought being on antibiotics would slow me down. Guess my body likes them.

Also, I signed up for my Stabilization Party. It's on Friday, March 2nd. I can't believe I'm at the point where I'm actually talking stabilization.

Today is a good day.
