I have some news to share both good (or rather very exciting) and one not so good. First the good: You know our area doesn't never get any snow and i have really been praying for a good snow. We have a 77% chance of it to start at midnight and be heavy and not stop until mid morning friday. Accumilations of 6 to 10 inches or more and the weather man said he was being "conservative" with those amounts right now but said it was going to be a huge event and we're under a warning now.
The bad news: the blazer is in the shop again and when it was towed the guy pulled the oil dip stick out and it had gas mixed in the oil. I don't know what kinda of money we're looking at there but they have it now and don't know how long which means DH will have to drive my beloved little car tomorrow and she doesn't like winter weather. (I pamper that car).
Deb I admire what you know about the bible. Thank you for sharing that and refreshing my mind on things but that was basically what I was trying to tell daphne was the backgrounds of his parents. I'm excited to see that movie but the theater here is sold out for days and it doesn't even get in our city until friday. I am mad with you on that so called meeting that they have scheduled for you. They really have no reason for it & I can't wait to hear what they tell you either. Be bold girl and it will work out I"m sure. You have to put your kids first so I agree with what you had to do.
Daphne I don't know what the catalogs sell for but it's not $10. Mine were 8 for $40 so they would run $5 with no commission on them but I am willing to GIVE you one if you think you might would want some things during this year especially. I will have to find an envelope or something large enough for it cause it's about a 12 x 12 and has 216 pages and it's spiral bound. It's really nice and I"m hoping in about a month to order some papers or something . I do like the ink pads though and I have 3 of their stamps that I"ve used already and a set of about 20 incentive stamps that you give to hostesses but I don't know if I"ll ever get that far. I really love the eyelets too and they aren't hard at all to use.
Deb the eyelets are very similar to what's on your tennis shoes that the strings go through but these are more colorful and can come in different shapes like flowers or hearts and you put them through your paper on cards.
Daphne I would imagine your eyes are very similar to Laken's. Hers actually were detached because of the scar tissue that laser surgery left. Then when they try to smooth them back out and get them to lie flat on the back of the eye, they are like trying to smooth out cheap saran wrap. It's nearly impossible. I've often thought of the whole vision situation and while Laken's doesn't know any better, I think I would rather lose my vision later in life. Especially if it's only 1 eye or at least 1 at a time because you have had a chance to absorb your environment. You know what colors are and although you have to learn braille eventually, you can also write in print being that you know what it looks like. I hope I haven't stepped on your toes but vision loss is something I deal with everyday with laken and I pray it doesn't happen to you but if anyone were to lose it as an adult, you can still live a normal life. You can have a computer that types what you write and calculators that talk and so forth. I hope I didn't make things worse for you by any means.
Gayle did you read, we're suppose to finally get some SNOW! I will certainly be sharing pictures when we do. How is your back doing? Did you fight the crowd to see the Passion today or are you at least planning on seeing it? I saw the "Making of The Passion" lastnight on PAX and it was real interesting. It takes a lot away from the movie though such as the "fake" blood which we all really knew about anyway.
Well I"d better post this before I lose it. I'm just really excited about what may happen later tonight and I'm talking about the weather!
By the way, did yall see Idol lastnight? I pray that last girl goes through cause I have NEVER heard anything like that before. She gave me chills!
