I went to an endocrinologist for the first time today. Of course, when the called me back what's the first thing I had to do? Get on the scale. But, this time was the first time what happened has happened to me in a long time. I got on there, the nurse put the big weight at the bottom of the slider on 150, the little weight above that was right in the middle of that arm. She knocked it over to the left, then knocked it again and again until it was on the 03!!! That's an afternoon weight with all work clothes and boots on. I wanted to jump off that thing and hug the nurse. I'm so used to that little weight on the top having to be moved over to the right.
While the Dr. was talking to me about stuff I mentioned that I was on the IP diet. He said great, that will teach your pancreas how to secrete the correct amount of insulin. I was floored. So ofter I run across people who have never heard of this diet. Here was a new Dr. to me and he was singing its praises. Loved it!!!
