Angie. I've had 1,000+ deficits for 4 days straight (yesterday = 1,301) and yet the scale has not budged. Grrrrrr. Sometimes, it feels as if my body is deliberately working against me.
I just have to keep telling myself, "Stay true and it will eventually work itself out". Still it can be frustrating when you and your body don't seem to be on the same team.

BlynC, seems like you and your body have decided to work together again! Congrats! I hear you about the 10K steps. I struggle to get it, too. If I don't have time for treadmill, I usually end up short.
Blyn, will you be joining us on the Coast-to-Coast walk? Go check out the stickie in Exercise. A group of us are digitally walking from Boston to Seattle via Route I-90. At 3,000+ miles, it's the longest continuous highway in the US. There are at least 10 of us signed up already! We'd love to have you join up!
