Yeah, it seems too suspicious to me. I also noticed that they didn't interview anyone from the Sprint store. How did they even get the bills? ABC said they had no way of knowing who was on the phone.
Plus, if this really did happen, and Paula tried so hard to keep it a secret (as he claims) then why would she go into a public store with him, knowing full well that everyone would see them together and recognize them? Wouldn't she have handled this on her own and given the phone to him, or had her assistant take care of it? Or just give him the cash to head down to Sprint, himself? It makes no sense at all.
Oh and I thought this was laughable - Corey claimed that he was coming forth with this now because this was a "900 lb gorilla on his back."

He apparently was bragging to people that he slept with Paula (what a jerk) and this supposedly tormented him? And he made this decision now, when he's trying to sell a book and CD?
Also, the phone recording by Paula did not sound like a woman worried over a an affair coming to light. She sounded like she was ticked off that he was trying to make these claims and she was telling him he better put a sock in it. That wasy my take, anyway.
I thought it was very cheesy the way ABC focused on Paula's friendly attitude towards him during auditions. Anyone that ever watches it will know she behaves that way to everyone, she's the nice one, lol.
I feel very badly for Paula, she has taken so much abuse this year.
