Carol Sue, I couldn't think of the word earlier when I wrote, but the lady who wrote th OP book said that instead of giving meds that don't work or make things worse, that doctors should be looking for ways to help us keep from falling by teaching us ways to keep our balance. I feel like that is what I do. I use the cane when I know or think i'm going to have to walk long distances. They also stress making sure that we keep the place where we live is safe and free from falling find exercises that strengthens our balance. I will check into exercising wiith weights, Tai Chi and Yoga for exercises that helps strengthen my bones and will help with balance.
I read a an article on Livestrong on eating low-acid diet. I wanted to know the acidic foods that cause inflammation and the ones that doesn't. However, the artiicle suggested that instead of not eating any acidic foods that you could run into health problems overdoing alkaline foods. The ph in our bodies needs to be balanced. I drank milk and also added green veggies... broccoli and Brussel sprouts to my meal and had potty issues. I only had one drink of ACV today but didn't add lemon although I did have lemon water before dinner. I read that drinking lemon/Acv combo drink detoxes a person so I may not be able to do that all the time because diarrhea is a side effect.
One diet says eat dairy and another says don't. So I will read from the books she mentioned in this book to see what they say as she doesn't really talk a lot about what you can and can't have to eat.
Your stuffed bell peppers and green beans sounds good. I need to eat something pretty soon to get my 2 meals in within 4 hrs, but not really hungry. Don't know whether to wait until hungry of just fix something and eat. I've had less than 800 calories so far.



I want to start using my weights more. They say to work up to 3 sets of 12 of each exercise 2xs a week. I think the recommendation is to do 2DAW but to do different exercises so you work a variety of muscles etc. I probably need to read more on that to be sure. I have a yr and a half before I have another DEXA bone density test and I want it to be improved if not reversed.
