It amazes me that this thread is still going, since I was one of the first to respond to it, and I'm so excited to see those who are now expecting babies...especially Lifeguard - if you're still around, congratulations!

I'm 18 weeks pregnant with triplets, so I'm off the weight loss train for a while, but I'll be right back on board after they're here!

Default morning mamas and future mamas

I think it's my time to come play. A little about myself. DH and I have been trying for #1 since august 07. Just recently I got out of de Nile, dried myself off and realized, that I STILL have PCOS, I am STILL OBESE, and it isn't helping anything. So, I have dropped 35 lbs, on my way to under 165. Once I get to 165 buddy watch out.. baby time. Hopefully AF comes back when the weight comes off. I will be able to see a DR and not just be told to lose weight. Hopefully I won't have to see anyone, thats my hope.
So looking forward to getting to know you lovely ladies and getting PG together!

hi ladies, this is the thread I have been searching for! we're ttc and I'm pretty sure my weight is what is preventing success... I'm terrified to go to a doctor, I don't know why but hearing what I already know is bound to send me into an enormous shame spiral which I will self medicate with large quantities of anything I can buy at a drive-thru..... I've got quite a few pages to go, but I would love to hear about everyone's progress... also, what does pcos mean? I look forward to getting to know you all and wish you luck and happiness along the baby trail!

Hey!

I was part of this thread a LONG time ago, I now have a 15 month old, and am TTC'ing again! I want to lose as much weight as possible before getting pregnant (I tend to take a LONG time to get pregnant....hopefully this time it doesn't take as long, it was over 2 years for my son). I did lose weight (got down to 195) which proved to make things work for conceiving my son (along with the help of a fertility doc)...so hopefully it'll work again. I'd love some buddies!

Hello.

I'm Sassy, been ttc for around 10 years, off and on. Recently ttc again. My RE put me on a cycle of Provera, which started my AF, tomorrow will be day 3 and I have to go back in to my RE for a shot but he said he was give me Clomid?? I've taken Clomid before, several times actually and it was in pill form. I didn't know if there is a injection form of Clomid or is there an injection you take with Clomid?

Thanks.

Sassy - I don't know about clomid coming in a shot form, I wonder if perhaps they're giving you something else along with the clomid? I haven't had clomid in over 2 years though, so who knows. Let us know!

LandonsBaby - We can if you want, doesn't matter to me...or we can keep this one going, whatever works best for everyone.

I have an appointment with my fertility doc on Monday. I'm not sure what he'll say because last time I was there I was VERY irregular on my cycles, but right now I am every 30-33 days so pretty regular. I don't know if I'm ovulating on my own because I haven't started temping yet, I keep meaning to...I should start tomorrow I'm still early enough in my cycle to.
