  • Evening!!

WOW, board sure is quiet this weekend. Will just say hello and call it a night. Will have the new board up and running early tomorrow morning. Going to try and muster up enough energy to get in my walking and then afterwards, have my yoga class, so I'm hoping to get in a post between the two if I'm able, otherwise, after the kids get home from school. Will tell you about the weekend then, nothing exciting, trust me

    See you all tomorrow!!

  • RENEE- The Light Done Right 3 Cheese Ranch is personally my FAVE! It's legal just don't have the lettuce floating in it,lol. Very tasty and I think it has only 1 or 2 gr sugar. Tip- in salad dressing, if sugar/syrup is listed in the first 3 ingredients- then don't buy it.
  • Well, guys- today was awful with my eating. It was my great grandmother's birthday and my Mom fried chicken, and had some kind of rice casserole, coleslaw, and of course a absolutely divine caramel and cocunut butter pecan cake! Over the course of the day, I had 3 slices!! Totally blew it today and then some. I WAS down to 208.5 this morning. I will probably be up several pounds in the morning due to all the carbs- fluid retention. Why I couldn't just eat one little slice and skip some of the other things - I don't know. Yes, I do- no willpower, it sucks. Okay, well I guess tomorrow is as good a day as any to start my detox. We went to the grocery store and I stocked up on produce and sf jello. Oh, and I found Sugarbuster's Caesar Dressing- it was costly though- $4.19. It has a bit more fat than I like, but no carbs and no sugar- now if only it tastes good. We also ran into one of Robby's cousin's who was down visiting(they live in Texas) and she said her baby has a heart murmur(6 months). I asked if it was considered an innocent murmur or not. She said she took him to the cardiologist in Texas and they said it's something they would keep an eye on and he would probably outgrow it. I asked to look at his feet, so I took his socks off and his feet were very cyanotic(purple). I told her she better be taking him to get a second opinion. She said I know but we can't take him anywhere else because of the insurance. I told her that even if she had to travel at least 6 hours, get him to another card- heart defects are nothing to mess with. She didn't say anything, and then I got frank with her and said Look, you're baby can literally drop dead without notice. I think that sunk in. Okay, gotta go- still feeling nauseous from my migraine yesterday(too bad it didn't ruin my appetite, lol).
