Took some pictures of myself tonight and am thoroughly disgusted. Hoping this will be the motivation I need to turn this scale around! Chocolate easter eggs have been my downfall of late.

I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is another day.

I have been under the weather the past couple days as well, so I really should get my butt to bed!!

hi everyone--miss you all too! TOM finally came and went (after being a week late and hellish) and i'm feeling much more mentally on track now. i don't know why, but i've been craving junk food way more than normal. not giving in unreasonably to the cravings--but more than i'd like. i'm working on balance--something i can keep up for the long term. i haven't weighed myself in a few days (it was becoming mentally unhealthy for me). i'll probably do a weigh-in sometime early next week to check in. the plantar fasciitis is getting better--i'm still swimming, not running but i think i may try running again in a few days and see how it feels.

W-64 and i can really tell the difference when i drink enough water and when i don't--wow
E-figure out what my 'plan' is. allow for treats occasionally. lots of veggies to feel full.
E-still swimming away. next week i have crazy early work schedule so hopefully i can get my workouts in, even if i have to do it early--you guys can, so i can too
D-one day at a time. don't forget to enjoy the moment while anticipating the goal.

michelle--good memory about the concert. yes, it was a concert with itzhak perlman, my favorite violinist. i play and teach violin and he's been a favorite of mine since i was little. he was amazing. i think you also asked about bf's travels a while back and i don't think i replied--he was in costa rica for a month. he had a good time but i'm so happy he's back

mindy--you are working so hard! i know that it will pay off! hope that you can convince your friend to join you--company is good

jeni-congrats on your progress and good luck with this crazy time of year

mm-wow, a half marathon! that is awesome. i have extreme respect for anyone who can run for more than 15 minutes, and a half marathon defninitely falls into that category. good luck! hope your knees are feeling better soon.

thinpossible--hope you enjoyed your vacation

ht-congratulations on your diploma! what is your degree in? also, happy belated birthday--sounds like you've been having a good time

shari-hope that things get easier soon...keep taking it one day at a time...

clykk--i'm sorry you're not feeling well--get lots of sleep

talk to everyone soon! i'm going to be more "around" this week i hope.

Wink

Went to see my son's play last night. It was very "interesting". Not much of a plot just drunks, addicts, dealers, prostitutes etc. They did a great job though acting their respective parts. Today is my dad's birthday, so going out for dinner. I will be careful. I will not blow it now.

I have gotta say, yay for progesterone cream. My 4 pound gain is gone, plus some. and this would typically be the time I would still be up and not losing until after TOM. I hope I have hit upon something that really makes a difference. A few minutes ago I saw 191.8 on the scale. I was shocked.

I have lots to do yet today, so i have to run.
