I haven't been on this site in a year or two but thought I might find other new mamas here. Sadie baby is 4 1/2 months old. I got up to 225 (40lb gain) and am now down to about 198-200. I've been hitting the gym 2-3 times a week and some days walk 3-4 miles (now that it's nice.) By DH and I just started a two week ban on cheese, ice cream and cookies. He gained a fair amount of weight during my pregnancy too. Honestly? I'll probably lose a few lbs just from cutting those out.

Since starting breastfeeding, I get sugar cravings that remind of nic fits from back in my smoking days. Absolutely insatiable. Has anyone else had this problem?

Goal weight..first 185 (prepregnancy weight)...Final goal 145.

Hmm, yah, I'm always wanting sweets. Figured it was a holdover from my pregnant days. I live by no sugar added Fudgsicles & the Weight Watchers frozen desserts. You're doing good with the loss, eh?

I am now a nursing mama. Baby Jack is 5 days old. Hope to get support to get fit and eat healthy, I always gain more wait post partum than I did while pregnant.
