Maybe I am a little late to join this. lol my son is turning 1 this month. and i am a bit complicated. i also have a 2 year old, and a 3 year old soon to be 4 in august. I have been pregnant or nursing since 2007!
Before I got Pregrant with my first child i was 120, 160 when she was born. Then in about 6 months i got back down to 140 then was pregnant with my 2nd child. weighed 180 when i had her. Then in about 7 months got back down to 155 and got pregnant with my son! didnt gain much weight with him, got up to 165 and about 2 weeks pp was back to 155. My curent weight 1 year PP is 146. I'm pretty sure God willing i am done having kids for 5 plus years or more. and have began to wean my son and he is eatting much more baby food and supplementing. So i am, done saying, "i need to eat all this great food im Pregnant/breastfeeding" I'd like to chime in weekly as well if my child isnt too old. i'm new here |
Hey ladies, may I join in?
My twins are 10 months and while I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight pretty quickly (9 months of vomiting), I somehow managed to gain weight while breastfeeding so I now weight much more than I did when my girls were 6 weeks old. Plus my pre-pregnancy weight was too high anyway, so I need to lose. It would help a lot if I could join the weekly weight-in :) Ctrsara I sooo hear you, I compensated for the lack of sleep with chocolate...now they finally sleep better so I have no more excuse - just that I am still breastfeeding so no radical food restrictions now, just going to try and be reasonable... So: My pre-pregnancy weight: 215 6 weeks after the girls were born: 205 When the girls turned 10 months (started losing): 217 My goal weight: 187 |
Aww, nobody else?

Ronja, I will be joining you soon! I'm 34w2d and measuring 37w+ so hopefully will be here sooner rather than later. :) This will be my 3rd boy in 3.5 years and I still have the weight from #1 to lose. I hope to make some good headway on it in the first year or so after this one comes. (We'll see... I haven't been able to lose much weight while nursing in the past.)

ronja, I gained weight during breastfeeding too. Isn't it lovely? For everyone else bf is the magic wand to lose weight! I have hashimotos too. I don't know if that is why I bounce so much because my labs show it is under control.
I was 217 after giving birth. I dropped to 201 fast then I struggled to get to the 190s, then I just blasted to 180s, then I gained back to 190, now I'm sitting right at 200 again! I know insulin resistance is also an enemy of mine because I had gestational diabetes, and I have been watching my blood sugar still. |
I haven't updated in a while. I think I last updated in February and was 157 at the time. Here are my stats:
Pre-pregnancy weight: 145 High pregnancy weight: 170 6 weeks pp: 157 3 months pp: 151.6 4 months pp: 145.2 current (4.5 months pp): 144.6 |
well, I am trying carb cycling and the 2 day diet. So far I went from 199 to 196, but I will be eating higher carbs for the rest of the week but keeping calories to 1800.
