hello everyone.
What a great thread :) I am almost 5 months pp. pre pregnancy I was about 190. That was my heaviest I've ever been, working on the road was brutal. I am 5ft6, and have always been very busty so my weight was deceiving. I never looked that heavy so I didn't pay much attention to the scale til I got pregnant. I immediately stopped eating fast food and drinking pop when I found out, and morning sickness paid a role in my weight loss. At 4 months pregnant I was down to 171. I went off work, and slowly gained weight normally and in a healthy way. The day I delivered I was 208. 2 weeks 191 4 weeks 185 6 weeks 180 8 weeks 178 Since then, my weight has been up/down in the 170's. I am breastfeeding happily, and wouldn't change a thing. I am hoping to get down to 150, which looks great on my frame. I ordered the a 2 week trial of fullbars, which I think will help me from snacking between meals. I love to munch... I'm not ignoring this thread, I've just been bouncing between 237 and 240 for quite a few weeks now. I figure even if I stick here until I wean this is more weight than I lost with my first one while BFing (I gained 10 lbs while BFing my first!! :o)

Gale02, I've been going through the same thing. I'll lose a couple pounds then plateau for a few weeks. But as you said, This is the closest I've been to my goal weight so I'm choosing to not get so frustrated about it. We'll get there, lets just love our little ones. :)
I sort of feel like my progress is much like the little guy to the right of my name except every step is a week. LOL |
I'm with you Gale, I keep bouncing around and it seems like I am retaining water something awful. My weight will jump 5 pounds in 3 days, then be back down the next. But I also agree on being happy with what I've lost so far, I hadn't lost all the baby weight when I got pregnant with my second and was up 20 pounds after the birth of my first, so I'm making progress. Baby two and three's weight is history, now to work on baby 1.

Lost 1.5 this week. Milk supply is good. I'm still able to bf exclusive on 1500 calories. I just have a hard time sticking with 1500. I am 21 weeks pp today. I had an interesting workout, (if you can call it that) at T-Zone Vibrations. You have a glass of water, and stand on this vibrating contraption. It vibrates the **** outta ya, I can tell you all that much. You do various poses, and the plate under your feet vibrates. I loved it, not sure what it will do for my weight loss journey but it was a good 10 mins. I weighed myself, and I seem to be stuck in the 170's. 175 today... 20 lbs to go. 20 stubborn lbs... :) |
Rachel - LOL! I'm not sure my weight is even moving as fast as the guy in your signature. I've been bouncing around the same 5 lbs since the beginning of December. *sigh* Oh well. Like you said, I'm gonna love my little guys. The weight will come off at some point! I don't seem to be one of those women who loses like mad while nursing, I wish I was! :)
Tori - I'm working on baby weight from number one, too. I gained about 10 lbs while I was nursing him, had one month after I weaned him and then got pregnant with #2. So, I'm about 30lbs below my #2 PPW. I'd like to get down to my #1 PPW (197) before #2 is a year old, but I'm just going to keep on keeping on whether that happens or not. I started the 30 Day Shred, today will be day 4. My muscles have finally stopped hurting this morning, which I think is a good sign! I'm not weighing this month, but doing the Shred in addition to my walking and 2x week volleyball and calorie counting. We'll see how it goes! |
